I don't know if I said Adrian's age, but he's 10 as well as Melody. Cam is 11, but he acts very childish. Adrian's pronouns are he/him, but Calum says they/them (because he isn't sure about Ade's pronouns)
Soon enough Michael's shift ended, and he was driving home to see Adrian, who was at the neighbours as of now because Michael had his job to attend. When he got home, he walked over next door to the looney old woman who watches his child. As he was about to knock on the door, his kid ran out in a fit of giggles with a lady who looked about Michael's age ran out after him saying 'here comes the tickle monster'. "Papa help, " Adrian said laughing, holding onto his father's leg. The lady looked up her eyes meeting mine, which were hazel mixed with blue and gold. "Hello there, my names Stacy" she spoke holding out a hand for me to shake which I gladly did. "Michael. Where's Shirley?". "She's in her chamber" she explained shortly making Michael reply with an 'Oh'. "Well I must be going I have things to attend to, farewell Michael and Adrian." she said, waving to the lads as they were walking off.
"She was formal and pretty. I like her" Adrian said, causing his father to smile. "Okay, Melody and Cam are coming over you know right?" His father said, and he had a glimmer in his eye when he said, Cam. "Cammy is coming? Yay!" Adrian said
Hours went by, and the doorbell rang. "Daddy, Daddy, they're here, they're here!" Adrian shouts from the top of the stairs running down them. "Cammie" He yelled hugging his friend that stood in the doorway with his mothers who awed at the two boys who embraced each other. "Mikey were here," Natalie said from the door frame walking in after the boys went up the stairs (and of course Adrian locked the door). "Well, hello my fellow gays. How art thou?" Michael said with a bow. "Formal, I like it," Hillary said, right after the doorbell rung. Adrian, of course, got it, and Calum appeared in the room moments later. "Oh Hello," He said to the two females who waved at him. "is he gay too?" they asked, and his eyes widened. "No?" Michael said in a questioning voice because he wasn't sure if the chap was into males at all. "Yeah, I'm a heterosexual," he muttered, they weren't quite sure why. "Well Mikey, we'll be back for Cam in a little bit Hillary's grandmother wanted us to see her, she's just down the street so we'll be back in an hour" Natalie spoke, and Michael replied with a nod "Sounds good."
After the couple left Calum and Michael were looking at each other for a little while, wondering what to do or say next. "So, how've you been lately?" Michael asked the raven haired bloke. "I've been alright" He shrugged. "Come and we'll talk," Michael said leading him to the living room. They sat on the couch, side by side. "Something's wrong. Rant to me" Michael murmured. "It's my wife. She's been off for the last few months, and there's no sign of her getting any better and I just- I don't know anymore Michael" The maori boy said looking into Michael's big green eyes. "What do you mean by off," Michael asked rubbing the males back softly. "She h-" He was going to continue, but the children came running down the stairs, which Michael moved a little farther away from Calum.
"Daddy, Daddy Cammie gave me kisses lookie," Adrian said pointing to his cheek while Cam was blushing madly at Adrian. "Cadrian, Cadrian, Cadrian" Melody chanted in the corner, making the two grown males chuckle. Michael then glanced at the clock beside the t.v (which was a minccino design), and he realised that the time had gone quickly. "Hey, Camster your mums should be back any moment now," Michael said, and the kids sighed. "But I want Cammie to stay" Adrian whined grabbing onto Cameron's arm. "Cam can sleep over another time but not tonight okay, there's school tomorrow," Michael said, and Adrian nodded and let Cam go, not before kissing him on the cheek which left the older boy blushing as he got his coat on.
Michael opened the door three minutes after those events; it revealed his fellow gays. "Mikey, was he well behaved," Hillary asked walking towards Cameron. "Yeah, he was great, right Camster" Michael finished ruffling the boy's hair.
The family left now leaving Calum and Melody. "We should go it's getting late" Calum mumbled "But your wife" Michael said in a questioning voice and Calum just shook his head. "I can handle it" Michael couldn't fight him on this subject it's what he wanted to do, and he was in no place to stop him. "Okay, if you say so, but you can always stay here if you need to" The coloured haired chap offered. "Thank you for your generosity Michael, really." He said before calling his daughter to leave
After Adrian was off to bed, Michael went downstairs to the freezer and pulled out some ice cream. He went into the living room and curled up on the couch, watching his wedding videos over and over again. Oh, how he missed Kevin.
