I wake up to my phone ringing. It's an unknown number. I answer it.
" Hello?" I ask.
It's my mom's lawyer. He basically tells me that my mom left everything to me in her will. Her house. Her money. Everything and I have to have a lunch meeting with him today to sign something that makes everything that once was my mom's mine.
" Alright see you later." I say.
I hang up and Orion is just staring at me. I get up and walk into the bathroom.
" Who was that on the phone?" Orion asks.
" Just an old friend." I say.
" Is it a boy?" Orion asks.
" Considering you were eavesdropping the conversation you heard the bass in his voice." I say.
Orion just looks mad. I bust out into laughter.
" I'm having a meeting with my mom's lawyer so I can get everything that she left me in her will which was like everything." I say.
Orion lets out a sigh of relief.
" Okay cool." Orion smiles.
I just roll my eyes and turn the shower on.
" Are you still mad at me?" Orion asks.
" Yes." I say.
I strip down to nothing and step into the shower. The warm water attacking my skin. It feels amazing. I wash up and get out to Orion fixing his hair in the foggy bathroom mirror. I just walk out of the bathroom and find and pick out an outfit. I'm surprised my hips haven't grown. I walk back into the bathroom and start puking. Orion rubs my back and holds my hair back. I finish and brush my teeth extra good. I put my hair up in the neatest messiest bun in the world and walk out into the living room and see Adam and Talia sitting on the couch watching TV. I walk into the kitchen and make eggs, pancakes, toast and bacon for everyone. I grab a slice of bacon and leave home. Since I have a few hours to spare, I think I'm going shopping for the boys. I get into my car and drive to Babies r us. My phone starts ringing. It's Orion. I answer it so you can hear it through the whole car.
" You know it's really not safe to talk on the phone and drive." I say.
" Babe stop being mad at me." Orion says.
" I'm pregnant. That's what I do." I say.
" I'm coming to where you are." Orion says.
" You'll never find me." I say.
" That's not what the GPS I planted in your phone says. See you in a few. Love you." Orion says.
I groan. He hangs up as I pull into the parking lot of Babies R Us.
