I let out a small laugh as my parents said, "You aren't going to that party." 

"Please be joking, mom, please." I begged of her.

"No, we're serious, Clover." My father spoke with a firm tone.

"Fine. Have it your way. I'm not going." I crossed my arms, with a false mad look in my eyes.

This where it all begins, when I couldn't go to the party of my life.
