OC Book 2-Falling Embers

A bit to much water.....

EmberPaw walked on the warm sand and into the forest. The soft sand faded into the bright green grass, and then the palm trees turned tall lush trees. The blazing green-leaf sun that heated the forest was cooled by a soft ocean breeze. EmberPaw gladly felt the soft breeze touch her thick and fuzzy pelt. EmberPaw then raced happily ahead to her mentor, ShadeFur, while DarkPaw slowly padded behind. EmberPaw gave her sister a sympathetic glance. DarkPaw as a kit wanted to be a warrior, but now she seemed so unsure and unhappy about it. But DarkPaw still wanted to learn how to swim and see the territory. ShadeFur then turned to EmberPaw with a smile "Were going to the JungleClan border, but it's very far away, so we should take a short-cut on the stone path." she advised, and saw that AngelFur nodded in agreement. EmberPaw waved her tail in the air "Okay!" she mewed.

The four cats padded threw the forest, While ShadeFur and AngelFur were showing their apprentices the territory. Then, when they came up to a huge river, EmberPaw stopped dead in her tracks. Her heart pounded fast, and her fur started to bristle, while her green eyes widened in horror. W-Whats going on! EmberPaw screamed in her head. Then all of the sudden the sky darkened with ash and stormy clouds, and the ground was burnt, and there was a huge fire surrounding the river and herself. Then EmberPaw saw a huge dark pine colored tabby tom with a half- burnt face and scars going across his pelt with glowing red amber eyes. The tom was locked in battle with another tom, with a tabby brown pelt and one scar across his eye. They were saying something, but EmberPaw could only hear the storms above her and the blazing fire. Then right about when the second tabby tom looked like he was about to die, a pearl white she-cat jumped in front of him, and stared at the half-burnt tabby tom with glowing blue eyes. The she-cats pelt had a faint blue glow, and her eyes were sparkling with the life of StarClan cats. She must be a leader! EmberPaw guessed. The white leader shouted something at the half-burnt tom, and he curled his lip  and shouted something back. Then the two cats fought with pure hatred and anger. But in between the battle, they were dangerously close to the edge of the river. Then the white she-cat leader pinned the half-burnt tabby down, and she was about to make a large blow when the tabby tom threw her into the river. EmberPaw tried to run to save the she-cat, but slipped and fell down the edge. 

  Then the river pulled her in, and the stormy skies were gone, and the fire vanished, and EmberPaw opened her eyes to see that she was in the water, and muffled shouts came from above. and she saw that it was ShadeFur, DarkPaw, AngelFur, StormTalon, And....DriedPaw.  EmberPaw swam upwards, knowing very little about swimming. Though OceanClan cats are born with the talent of swimming, and EmberPaw is a great swimmer, the big river she was getting pulled into had a strong current, and waves splashed over her head. EmberPaw tried as hard as she could to fight the current, and swam onwards. But as she was swimming, a huge wave pulled her under. Then a cat swam up to her, its starry pelt glowing in the water. It's amber gaze was staring at her, and EmberPaw tried to swim away, scared. But the starry tom stopped her "Do not be afraid, I am here to help you." he said with and old voice. EmberPaw went closer to the brown tom. His pelt was scared, but it had starry glow. Maybe its a StarClan cat....  EmberPaw thought. " What was that weird vision i had!?" she asked. The tom blinked " EmberPaw, a fire is rising inside you, and it will destroy the ocean. While you are drowned in sorrow." he said. EmberPaw's eyes widened in surprise. This tom had the same voice that spoke to her in her dream as a kit. The tom then started to vanish, and EmberPaw was pushed under the river, and she hit her head on a rock. 

The whole world was fuzzy, and she tried to swim up again. She shook the water from her eyes and saw that DriedPaw was leaping down towards her, landing on large rock. StormTalon, from above, was shouting something to his apprentice, and he looked half angry, and half worried. Then EmberPaw felt DriedPaw sinking his teeth into her scruff, and lifted her up, nearly slipping with the weight.But finally he hoisted her up, panting. EmberPaw strained her ears to try to hear what was going on. DriedPaw was hovering over her, and StormTalon was swiftly jumping down from rock to rock, while ShadeFur was doing the same, and AngelFur was behind DarkPaw, guiding her way down. EmberPaw saw the blurry form of DarkPaw hovering over her, and AngelFur's worried gaze, along with ShadeFur shouting. EmberPaw's sight started to darken, and all she could hear was DriedPaw shouting at her. Then everything went black.
