The Perfect Fall: Chapter 3

*Anna’s POV*

A few weeks later we had become really good friends with the boys, Perrie, and Eleanor, and Niall and Emily had started dating.

To: Louis

Hey Lou I need to tell you something will you come over?

From: Louis

Oh yay! Secrets! Ya, sure thing be there in a few.

Louis came over.

“Hey, so what you wanna tell me?” he asked.

“Ok so I was always into Liam; you know as a fangril I never really expected to meet you guys.”

“Ya ok,” said Louis impatiently.

“Well I still like him, but now genuinely and not just as a oh he’s in one direction he’s my favorite type of way…but I don’t think he likes me in that way. He’s never said anything to me that would make me think he wants to be more than friends.

“You--! But he--! PEOPLE NEED TO EXPRESS THEIR FEELINGS! ITS JUST SO UGHH COMPLICATIONS AND OH MY GOD I JUST!” he burst out.

“Um…are you ok? What was that about?”

“I can’t tell you!”

As I was about to protest the rest of the boys, Sophia, Emily, Perrie, and Eleanor walked in. I guess I’ll talk to Louis later then…

*Sophia’s POV*

We all were sitting around the fireplace drinking tea and hanging out; it was cold and rainy outside. It started pouring and Louis decided that it would be fun to go run in the rain.

“Um I think I’ll stay here, I think I’m getting sick and being cold and wet won’t help,” I say.

“I’ll stay inside with you” Harry offers looking up from his teacup.

Every one went outside and Harry came and sits next to me in front of the fireplace. I take out my hair clip to re-clip my side bangs, which were falling out. I accidentally drop the clip and watch it fall to the ground. Harry picks it up for me, but instead of handing it to me he gently clips my hair to the side. He looks me in the eyes not moving his hand from the side of my head. Our faces were so close; I could smell his candy cane breath, minty and sweet.

“I never would mistreat you, I’m not a criminal,” he sings quietly to me while he strokes my hair. “Let me be the one to light a fire in those eyes,” he continues to sing, “Sophia let me be the one to lift up your heart and save your life, I don’t think you even realize, baby, you’ve been saving mine.”

He stops singing, closes his eyes, and moves in. I move closer to him so that his chest is pressed up against mine. I can feel his heart pounding fast. I run my hands through his hair as his lips move against mine. As he continues to kiss me, he clasps his hands around my back drawing me in even closer than before.

“Cough!” we jump apart, startled to see Louis smiling at us.

“So I guess Harry will be getting sick too then?” Louis says with a laugh.

The others walk in; Anna smiles at me looking between Harry and I.  I realize how close we’re still sitting.

“What’d we miss?” asks Liam being completely serious.

“Sophia and I were just…talking. And…um…I showed her part of the…um…new song.” Harry says as I blush.

“Oh. Cool,” Liam says with a shrug.

The boys decide to go home and change seeing as they’re soaking wet from the rain. Harry looks at me longingly as they walked out the door.

“Lets all hang out later!” he says a little louder than normal. 

We met back up a few hours later.

“Um can I talk to you?” Harry asks.

I agree and we left the room. I lean against a wall, and he puts his hands on either side of me so that I was trapped between him and the wall. He smiles at me

“I missed you,” he whispers.  

I let out a soft giggle. “I missed you too.”

“I really like you,” he said looking down at me, “And I was kinda hoping you liked me too?”

I put my arms around his neck and this time I kiss him. He lets out a little sigh of relief.

“I will take that as a yes,” he says pulling back for a moment before he carries on kissing me. I smile in-between his kisses and say, “yes, I do.”

*Anna’s POV*

I grab Louis by the arm and drag him into the kitchen.

“What was that about earlier?” I ask him.

“What was what about?” he replied.

“You freaked out when I told you I liked Liam!”

“Oh yeah that, I don’t know I was just having an emotional moment, no biggy.”

He walked out leaving me more confused then before. I walk into the living room and sit on the couch. Everyone else walks in.

“Guys I have good news,” Zayn said walking in. “I managed to postpone the tour another two weeks, and we’re all going to stay in a cabin in Tahoe together for a week.”

 We all got really excited and started talking.

“We leave the day after tomorrow,” said Perrie with a smile.

“Perrie and I are going to stay in one room since we’re engaged, so the rest of you can work that out. There are five rooms, so two per room.”

We decide that Sophia and I will share a room; Emily and Eleanor will share another room, Liam and harry will share, and Niall and Louis in the last one.  On Monday we packed up the car, piled in, and set off for Lake Tahoe; singing songs the entire way.
