"Do I have to?" moans Lisbon for the hundredth time that day, as Van Pelt fiddles with her wire, making sure it is fastened under her dress. "Why can't you and Rigs do it? You're the ones who always do these ridiculous undercover job thingies!". Grace smiles at her sulky boss, "Exactly! That's why its you and Jane's turn, this time!". Lisbon stuck her lower lip out and pouted like a child, crossing her arms over her chest stubbornly, knowing that she had lost the fight.

Lisbon was sitting on Jane's couch being prepped by Jane and her unit on what to do for their mission to work. It seemed simple enough. She and Jane were married- wait had she said simple? Forget it! Even the notion of being married to Jane made her blush furiously like a schoolgirl. And her clothes? Ugh! They were so feminine! So girly! So- not her! Teresa Lisbon was clad in a simple black and jade coloured dress, reaching a little more than halfway up her thighs. She pulled it down desperately in an attempt to cover more of her leg, only to find that it slid down her chest revealing the tops of her breasts. She gasped, pulling it back up in a hurry. After a general tug of war between the upper and lower half of her dress, she gave up. "Oh I might as well jut go in my underwear!". Oops...

The room fell deadly quiet. Then everyone began talking at once. Except Cho. Naturally. "You what, Boss?" asked an incredulous Van Pelt. "Now that I would NOT object to!" hollers an amused Jane. Dammit! She hadn't realised she was talking out loud. She managed to pull herself back together. "Who chose this ridiculous dress?" she asked them, cheeks still flaming, but authority ringing clearly in her do-not-mess-with-me voice. "That would be me!" whispers Jane in her ear. "Of course it was!". She should have known. "Oh, almost forgot!". He leans forward as if to touch her face and Lisbon shies away, terrified. "Scared of your husband, Boss?" Rigsby jokes, earning a smile even from Cho. Instead of touching her face, Jane brushes his fingers along her ears and when he pulls back, she notices that beautiful emerald earrings are hanging from them, similar to the ones he had given her a few years ago, but oh so much more beautiful this time. "Only the best for my wife!" Jane jokes, slinging an arm round her shoulder carelessly. "They're not as beautiful as those eyes of yours but they will have to do!".

"Oh, hush!" mumbles Lisbon into his shoulder. "Thank you, Jane, they're beautiful!". "I'm so glad you like me enough to accept my gifts now, Lisbon!" he says ruffling her hair. "Awwww!" coos Van Pelt. "Aren't you two just precious? We should have made you do this ages ago!". "Now remember!" intervenes Cho before Lisbon can tell Grace off. "Attend the garden party, act casual, and talk to the suspect about anything and everything! We need more background info. He's been completely blocked off our criminal records, how I don't know. It's near impossible to do. This man is a mass murderer so take this." He hands Lisbon an ordinary looking pen. "Aim and press that button and he's dead.". "Why are you only prepping me and not Jane?" asks Lisbon curiously. The unit look at one another uncomfortably. "No offense, boss, but you kinda suck at lying and Jane's a natural. Just remember to act natural and you'll be fine!" comforts Van Pelt. "Why can't you and Jane do it?" I whine. "You and Jane make a better couple.." begins Van Pelt, but seeing Lisbon's red face she changes tactics quickly. "I mean- You're partners and you work so well together!" she finishes.

"Yeah I guess" agrees Lisbon, finally. "and for the final touch-" Grace begins, holding up a pair of men's blue jeans and sweater. "your outfit, Jane!". Next to her, Lisbon can feel Jane tense and has to hold back giggles as she realises, he was extremely unaware that he too would be required to change as well. She turns to look at him and has to laugh at his wide eyes and terrified expression. As Grace leans forward, Jane shoots up and away. "You'll never take me alive!" he yells as he dodges Rigsby, dives out of Cho's block and out of the bullpen. Teresa Lisbon can't help but to think this is all worth it, as she watches Jane being chased persistently by a red faced, Cho, Rigsby and Van Pelt.
