Caspar's POV
"I don't know, she's just been really distant lately." Joe was sitting on his bed and I sat myself down next to him.
"I'm sorry man, I wish I could help you out on this." I consoled Joe.
"Me too." Joe looked at his hands, which were dry and covered in red scratches.
"Hey, are you okay?" I gestured at Joe's hands.
"Yeah, it's just Kelsey's been having trouble with night terrors and I'm getting kind of beaten up from it."
"Where is Kelsey now?"
"I don't know, she just left."
"Is she okay?"
"I don't know."
Hazel's POV
I was mad, fuming. At what? I don't know. But whatever it was had to have been awful. I stormed into a bedroom; whose? Another thing I'm not sure of. It seemed vaguely familiar so I figured I could cool myself down in here. I sat on the bed when something caught my eye. It was a crumpled up piece of paper in a trash bin. I grabbed it from the metal bin and uncrumpled it. On it was a drawing of a beautiful diamond ring and a wedding, the couple seemed so familiar. It wasn't long until I realized that the girl in the picture was me. The other three people I didn't quite recognize but I felt sure that I knew them. For some reason this made me angrier, much angrier. I crumpled up the paper once again and shoved it into my pocket. I grabbed my phone and called the one name I recognized on this list I people I apparently knew.
"Hello?" The voice I remembered so well answered.
"Hi Theo, I need a place to stay for a while." I had to get somewhere where I could just start over, somewhere where I didn't have people around me pushing me to take stupid pills, asking me to remember.
"Well you know where to find me, how long will you be?"
"Half an hour."
"Alright, see you then."
"Thanks."
"No problem, gorgeous." Theo hung up. I grabbed some clothes and forced them into a small suitcase along with some other essentials and strode our the door as quickly as possible, ready to begin whatever life awaited me at Theo's apartment.
Caspar's POV
After my chat with Joe, I headed back to my own bedroom and glanced into my trash bin. It was empty.
"Hazel?" I asked into the silence, I knew she was gone, along with that drawing of mine. And I regretted ever thinking up the idea of marrying Hazel in the first place.
