Convincing

First, I'll need a book called Codex Gigas. It roughly translates to Satan's Bible. While only a few are in actual existence, one can be found online very easily. While it won't work for something like summoning the Devil himself, the information will be priceless in our journey. There's the issue of the twelve missing pages but we will cross that bridge later... Or I guess you could say pass that gate.

I'm an actor, a writer, a singer, and a man of many talents. Being a con man is one. I know I'll be able to convince TJ and Nathaniel to come with me no problem. Mallory might be another issue though. She will take a lot of convincing. However I'm sure it can be done.

"Hey Nathaniel!" I said waking up to him.
"Oh hey dude what's up?" He said hugging his girlfriend Alexis. "Nothing much, what are you doing this weekend?" I asked giggling in my head. "Nothing, you wanna do something?" He asked almost innocently. "Yeah, pack enough clothes for a week and I'll pick you up Friday night," I said knowing this was the last week of school so we could have time to do things next week. I also figured with the weekend I could say that we would be going camping or something. Then have us hike and "stumble upon" the first gate. They say the only thing worse than looking for satan, is finding him and that's exactly what I plan to do. "Yeah sure thing, what are we doing?" He asked looking up at me. "Just a little camping in the woods, it'll be me, you, TJ, and Mallory," I said sighing a little. He nudged my side and grinned, "Bringing Mallory huh?"
"Oh shut up it's not like she likes me anyways," I said slightly annoyed he would bring that up,
"Just be ready at five p.m. on Friday."
"Yeah sure thing," he said as the bell rang.

Today was Wednesday meaning I had Spanish first period instead of choir. Fine with me I still had to talk to Mallory. I saw her starting to walk to class and ran to catch up. "Hey," I said almost out of breath.
"Sup bitch," she said laughing a little.
"Nothing much, so umm would you wanna hang out this weekend?" I asked.
"What like a date? You know I don't like," she said before I cut her off. "No! TJ and Nathaniel will be there," I said blushing slightly.
"Oh okay, well then sure, what are we doing?" "Pack your bags this Friday with a weeks worth of clothes, don't pack red," I said walking into the class and sitting in my seat. Red is symbolic for protection in Christian religions. I didn't tell Nathaniel not to wear red because he never does. You might be thinking that we would want protection, but you see if we wear it, the gates might refuse to show up. I don't exactly know how everything works, so I'm just going to run in and see what happens. As bad of a plan as it sounds, it's the best I have right now.

That afternoon I saw TJ and set up a time to pick him up, telling him too not to wear red. Time for phase two of god knows how many.
