This place is weird. I mean, I can barely see any black at all, and here my parents told me all the kids were just like me. Here I was, standing in a black shirt that showed off my skimpy structure and my favorite leather jacket. My slightly faded black jeans that clashed against my favorite shoes, my red converse, the only spot of color on me. I waded through the crowd on this September morning, feeling skeptical and cold, but ready for a change.
As the passing bell wrang, I skidded into my classroom found a seat and sat down. I saw one of the little perky blond girls laughing, but it didn't matter for long because the teacher spoke, "Hello, students. My name is Mr. Dunnington, and I will be your homeroom teacher for the rest of this year. Now let's take role." There were tons of kids there in my 11th grade homeroom. It took forever just to get to the L's. The girl before me was the girl who was laughing at me, and I found out that her name was Aislynn Lossaine. Pretty girl, pretty name. Then I was called "Jeremy Lovoner?" Mr. Dunnington called. My voice cracked as I said "I'm here" and Aislynn laughed again. I was getting annoyed with this little blondie. Sure, I look goth, everything except my eyes and skin were black. I have a pale white shade of skin (I don't get out much. Sue me.) And the only thing I absolutely love about me are my eyes. It's some sort of weird gene thing, because both my parents eyes are brown, and mine are a wonderful shade of green. A few names after, I had started paying attention just in time to hear the name of Lydia Somner. Now that, was a girl that I could go for. She sat at the back of the room, with mostly dark clothing, a skull motif on her shirt, black miniskirt, and Doc Martens. She wore heavy black eyeliner, with her hair tied black in an ebony ponytail tied with a bone ribbon. Maybe this school wasn't all bad.
