Chapter- 1
"Evelyn!!! where the bloody hell are you??" my father shouted.
I've always been scared of him. Maybe because he's always blamed me for my mother's death.
Or maybe because he says I'm worthless. or maybe it's because he beats me and doesn't let me leave the house.
Or maybe it's a little bit of both.
I mean even I think I'm not pretty and I am average.
But that doesn't mean I'm worthless.
No there must be something I'm good at.
"Evelyn!!! come down this instant or I swear to god I'll blow your brains out and feed them to the dogs!!!" he screamed.
He was always like this when he was drunk. which was usually during the night.
That was the time I feared the most.
I don't want to go down.
But I have to....
"Finally, the succubus arrives." my father sneered.
SLAP!!
"What did I tell you, huh!!? I told you to stay in the spot where I left you. and what do i see, when I return back?" SLAP!!!
"That my succubus of a daughter did not obey my order!"
SLAP!!
"I told you to stay in that corner, didn't I?!!" he shouted and kicked me in the stomach. I yelped. It hurts.
"Oh! so you feel the pain?!!" he kicked me again.
"Feel it bitch, because that's all you're going to get your whole life! feel it as I always do!!" he shouted and kicked me again.
I spited blood.
I lay there for some more time, until it was okay for me to walk and the pain subsided.
I saw my father sleeping in the armchair, my mother used to sit and kit in.
I saw the fruit basket beside the armchair.
There was a knife plunged in the apple.
Well it was time to end my father's pain.
And mine.
