"I'm gonna miss them" Jasmin said

"yeah, me too. but they'll be just gone for three days so... i'm pretty sure we can cope up" I said then Jasmin nodded

"right" she said "hey, have you noticed Niall lately?"

"what about him?" I asked, though i'm sure I know where this leads.

"he's been quite distant lately.. plus, I kept on seeing him talking to someone on the phone" Jasmin said

"yeah, noticed that too. but, let's not tell this to the others.. especially Louis. let's just let Niall tell us" I said

"yeah, you're right." Jasmin agreed and we walked arm in arm towards her car which Stephen let her drive because Stephen's sister is sick so he's on a leave.

(back to the flat)

"so you still haven't told me why you cried" I said while watching the tv and while Jasmin's reading a book. yes, my bestfriend's a bookworm.

"hmmm.. ok" Jasmin said "Louis and Liam found out that.. my dad has a..."

"a what?" I asked "he has a what?"

"he.. uhmmm.. he has another family" Jasmin stuttered

"he what?!" I blurted out "are you sure?!"

"yeah.. Liam's investigator is a professional, you know." Jasmin said

"so.. now.. what are you planning to do?" I asked

"i dunno.. i'll try to call him.. if he answers, then i'll talk to him about it. if he doesn't.. then.. whatever happens, happens" Jasmin said and she continued reading while I check my twitter for interactions and saw Harry's tweet.

then I tapped on favorite and retweet and I saved our photo. i'll just text him later, talk to him on facetime. then I saw my timeline, full of tweets about Zayn and then there's a tweet with Jasmin's name on it. what the heck is happening?!

"uhmmm.. Jas? you might wanna check your twitter interactions" I said

"i know. I gained a lot of followers and random people are tweeting me just because I have 5/5 of One Direction following me. what's the big deal?" she said, still reading, as I tap on Zayn's profile and saw his last tweet with Jasmin's name on it

and I viewed the photo and it was a candid photo of Jasmin, at the airport, smiling widely, showing her dimples

"uhmmm.. you really should check your interactions" I said then she groaned and dropped her book beside her and pulled out her iphone from her pocket

"so?" I said, hoping to see any reaction from her

"so?" she said "what's the big deal?"

"are you seriously asking me that?! gawd! Jas! Zayn took a stolen photo of you and tweeted it and said he's going to miss you!" I said "he fancies you!"

"nah.. I doubt it. he's just been through a break up with Perrie. and he's like a bestfriend to me. more like a big brother that I never had." Jasmin said, still straight faced. this girl is confusing and a little too complicated to please. I know Zayn fancies her. he didn't tell me but I know he does. and Jasmin on the other hand, I know she likes Zayn too. maybe a bit but she likes him and that's what matters. right? right? hmmmm... is it this time of year where I have to play matchmaker?
