Aurora's Pov:

Before i can even get out the car Melanie, Bella, and Adam open the door pulling me out. All felt were hugs and all i heard were " I miss you's". Then out of nowhere a deep voice said , " Welcome back wifey" scared I looked at my favorite oak tree ( A/N: I changed it from maple to oak idk why) to see the one and only Matthew leaning against it.

"Get out of here Matthew she doesn't want you here"

"Yeah she's not your wifey Matthew"

"What happened to Matt? And aren't you the one who marries us?"

"Matt left when asshole came and that was 12 years ago grow up"

Still shocked i stood there then i felt a hand grab mine.

"Who's that Rory?" Ivory looked at Matthew before turning back to me.

"Thats .. um Matthew"

"Matthew Hudson is that you?" My naive mother just got out of the car missing the whole scene just like my dad and Ivory.

" Hella Mrs.Schyes welcome back" My mother hugged Matthew and my friends then she took Ivory into the house.

"Well well if it isn't Matthew Hudson. How is that mother of yours?

"Well sir she moved to California with her new husband a couple of years ago"

"What she left you here?"

" Well i didn't want to go so my brother Mason has been taking care of me."

" That's good haven't seen Mason in awhile maybe you both can come by for dinner?"

" I would love to"

I glared at my dad and hugged my friends before glaring at a smirking Matthew .

Then i ran into my house and laid on the forever comforting bed.

*Two hours later*

" Rory... ROry!!!"

I woke up abruptly looking around my room to find my mom looking over me.

" You need to get up and eat dinner"

" Fine"

I sluggishly walked down the stairs and into the kitchen I stopped when i heard the familiar voice i've grown to hate.

" I know she went to Oak Ridge elementary but ever since the food poisoning most kids even her friends transferred to Briar Glen High."

I walked in and all eyes turned to me. I looked directly at Matthew " Maybe i want to go to Oak Ridge I heard they have less jerks!"

Everyone looked at me as if i were crazy and i walked into my room. I checked my phone to see i had 10 messages.

I put on my ripped jeans, my "No Bad Vibes" tank top with my chuck taylors and leather jacket. My hair was alreayd back to its natural curl even though i flat ironed it this morning. I brushed it leaving it out not wanting to do anything else to it. I put on my velvetine lipstick and grabbed my bag. I ran down stairs just as the doorbell rang " I'll get it" Bella and Melanie walked in.

"Wheres Adam?"

" With bitch #1"

" Really... whatever we don't need him"

I turned on my heels to ask my mom if i can go when I saw Matthew looking right at me.

" Where are you going?"

" None of your business"

His mouth came close to my ear. I love but hate that his 6'2 frame towered over my 5'5 frame.

" You can't hide from me Aurora" he smirked as i pushed him away in disgust.

" Mom can i go with Bella and Melanie?"

" Yeah but be home by 1"

"Ok" i looked at my phone it was 9:50 pm we have some time to waste.

I grabbed Bella and Melanie's hands looking back to see Matthew staring at me. I shake it off as we enter Bella's car and drive away.
