As I looked up at the man in a purple coat, he now wore a sudden scared look.
"I must ask why you have such a look like that" I throw the comeback at him.
"I-uh y-you're the q-queen of England!" He managed to get out.
I soon started panicking.
Great, just when I thought nobody would recognize me.
"Yes, but now you know who I am, who might you be?" I ask the man.
"I- Thomas Jefferson"
"Its nice to meet you but I'm needing to talk to George Washington" I admit.
"Yes, well he is very busy, may I welcome you to my home and have dinner?" He had seem to calm down alittle.
"That would be nice, but it's to early for dinner right now sir" I remind him of it being really early in the morning.
"Of course, how about I give you a tour around the city and then to my cabinet meeting?" Cabinet meeting, you say. Politics were always my thing.
"Shall we go?" Thomas held out his hand as a gladly excepted it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I might say, I'm a little disappointed that the cabinet meeting was just the 2 men naming the other's bad decisions, if you want a real cabinet meeting, you should come to Britain.
"So how'd you like it?" Thomas asked me as it was finished.
"You were great, but I have to go talk to Washington immediately!" I hugged him and strutted over to Washington.
He was talking to Thomas's opponent, Alexander Hamilton.
They both stared at me, Alexander's look suggested to me that he didn't know I was queen of England.
"Washington, may I talk to you, alone?" I half demanded, half questioned.
"Of course, how is tomorrow?" No, that won't do!
"I'm sorry sir but do you have anymore closer times, this is urge-"
"Maddam, I am truly sorry but I have to go the barracks and I would invite you to come along but I don't think you'll want to be around so many men" he cut me off and apologize.
"No, I would love too. But I seriously need to talk to you, it's important" I agree, a heard a cough and I looked over to see the man, I think his name is Alexander, standing there.
"Well, Alexander this is Abigail Mecklenburg, Abigail this is Alexander Hamilton. If you'd like to come along, Alex and I were on our way" Washington said.
"Alright, but i will be right back, i need to tell Jefferson where i am going so he doesnt worry"
I quickly walk over to a confused looking Thomas.
"Thomas, I am going to the Barracks with Washington so I can talk to him" as I went on, his face went from confused to disappointment.
"What about dinner?" He said, full of sadness but alittle bit of anger.
"How about tomorrow? Meet me in the park around 5?" I ask him
"Yes of course, see you then" I turned to leave but turned back around and hugged him, then started my way towards Washington and Hamilton.
As we all 3 got into the carriage, i grabbed the letter out of my jacket and handed it to Washington.
I wrote it when I was still in Britain, just in case George Washington was not available.
I didn't want Alexander knowing who I am, which clearly stated that in the letter, so I decided to get his attention but starting a conversation.
"So, Alexander, what do you do, for work?" The topic of work will last me through half of the letter because it isn't that long.
"Well, I'm in the military, but I'm Washington's right hand man as well" I forced a smile, great, he works for the military that fights my own country's.
"DO you have a job, or a husband, or children?" Alexander asked me.
I silently laughed, I did have a job and husband until a ran away to this country.
"Well, I did have a husband but... things didn't work out too well, I currently don't have a job" I said as I smiled at the man.
As I looked up at the man, we made eye contact but never broke it until we heard Washington clear his throat.
