This is off of topic but lately I have been watching Turn: Washington's spies and I highly recommend it! I have been marathoning it with my friend in new York at night.
Currently driving around, I have time to write so hopefully there are more updates in sooner time.

The tension in the air was very noticeable.
"Well, Abigail, about your letter, I don't think it's a good idea, I mean fighting agai-" Washington started as he was interrupted by the driver telling us that we have arrived to our destination, and my soon to be new home for a while.
The three of us stepped out of the cart and while the two men ascended towards the building, I followed close behind, watching the horse walk off, to another journey.
"As I was saying I don't think you should fight with us aga-" Washington started again, almost right on que, was cut off again but by a different man.
"Alexander!! Washington?" Said a shortish, little freckled man, following behind was a much larger group of two of men.
Washington's face was filled with annoyance with him not being able to get out what he wanted to say to me.
"CAN I PLE- can I PLEASE get out what I'm going to say without being interrupted again!" Washington said, yelling at first but calming down and brought his speech to a whisper.
"S-sorry sir, Alex, we need to catch up, let's leave these two to talk" the freckled, once joyful but now awkward man said to Alexander.
After all four of them walked off, George Washington started talking but I couldn't pay attention, I watched the group of men that had just been in front of me, now at a bar.
They were taking shots and laughing at jokes the buff one made and the freckled one wa- "ARE you even listening??" I heard Washington say with so little patience.
"I'm sorry sir, I'm just so fascinated by military life, as I have said." I apologize.
"Well, like I've said 3 times before, I don't think it would be a great idea for you to fight against your very own country!" Washington whispered.
He sounds genuinely concerned for me.
"Sir, please, I can't stand my country anymore, I need to do this!" I scream whisper back.
"What If someone from their side sees you, recognizes you! What about King George, I truly believe that you would regret ever even asking me to fight."
"What would he ever do to me? I am willing to take tha-" I trailed off as George Washington got close to my face, a little too close.
"Please, I don't need you being hurt in anyway!" He begs of me.
"Sir... please" I get out, "you have to let me fight" my voice cracks as I stare right into his eyes, indicating that I'm not afraid of him or willing to stand down.
"Please, just don't, just go home back to King George, it would he the smartest thing for you to do right now, you shouldn't be here in America".
With that, I was done, I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE HERE.
"Yeah, like you know the best choices, GUESS WHO IS RUNNING AMERICA, yup that's right, Britain, which I'm willing to help you guys. You have all the wrong ideas but with me..." i take a deep breath to calm down, "we can turn the tide" I whisper into his ear.
"I can't allow a woman on the battlefield, let alone, against her own country" his face appeared with concern.
"You are going to let me in the war and you are going to like it" I whisper dangerously into his ear.
He leaned back with a surprised face, no one has ever talked to him, I'm guessing.
"Fine, but if anything, and I mean ANYTHING happens to you, I will never forgive myself".
A cover of confusion laid across my face.
"Why would you care if anything happened to me?!".
"Listen, when we were younger, we had met, I loved you but I currently don't feel those feelings as so I'm married to a beautiful woman"  he admitted.
"Wha- Geo- you're Georgie, I remember, we were best of friends for the time you were visiting in Britain!"
How could I forget Georgie, the Georgie that I snuck out and met at the river after late afternoon.
Without thinking, I put my hand to his cheek gently.
He grabbed my arm, maybe a little to roughly, and put it to my side.
"We must show we don't know each other as we do, we must forget the past. I'll allow you to fight but please, be careful." Washington said and turned to walked towards a hallway.
I stood there, not knowing what to do, should I just forget the whole past between Washington and I, my first love, my first friend.
"Ay, are you alright" I hear a gruff voice say, directed in my direction.
I turn to see four men, the buffest is in front of them all, I felt all 8 eyes on me.
"I- G- yeah I'm fine, just a little confused" I start playing with my friends as I stare at Alexander.
"Why must you be confused?" I hear Alexander ask.
"I just joined" I smirk as all of their jaws fall down to the ground and amusement filled Alexander's face.
