Chapter Ten

MYKA

Nick drove to Tanya's house and she welcomed us. The first thing they did was hug and me said sorry.

"Myka it's Gigi's number." Jason said.

My world crumbled and I just went blank. I sat on the couch so lifeless. I couldn't move, or say anything. I was numb and I had a tight feeling on my chest.

I wanted to unhear those words and actually go on with my fake relationship with Ace. I wished I was blinded by his love again, but now I know the truth and it was so hard to accept it.

Tanya touched my hand and looked at me, like she was feeling my pain as well.

"Myka, it's gonna be fine." She reassured.

"It's never gonna be fine." I said.

"Good thing you aren't crying I me-"

I cut Jason off when I started sobbing and tears were falling down like waterfalls.

"Stupid." Tanya said slapping Jason.

I used Nick as my shoulder to cry on and he just hugged me, stroking my hair and his chin rested upon my head.

"What did I do for him to do this to me?" I asked.

"Myka stop blaming yourself. It's not your fault." Tanya said.

The door bell rang and Jason answered it. Sunny came in with Rob, and she hugged me so tight.

"Aw, Myka." Sunny said.

"Sunny..." I said in between my sobs.

"I swear I'm going to kill all those girls! And make them social outcasts for what they did to you!" She says with an angry look on her face.

"Thanks Sun, but seriously I have no one else to blame but myself. I'm not enough for him and I couldn't make him happy." I said.

"Fuck him! Like seriously, he has this literal goddess all to himself and he abuses it?! And this goddess is my best friend! No one's gonna get away with it!" Sunny said slamming her hand on the table.

"Thank you Sun." I said hugging her.

"Sunny's right, no one's gonn get away with this Myka. We'll make them pay. We're called bitches for a reason." Tanya said.

"My baby girl is so hot." Jason said.

"Ace always said that." I said "Didn't know he said it to other girls too."

"Hey! Thinking about him, think happy thoughts." Sunny said.

"Guys I gotta go, It's getting late." Jason says checking his watch.

"What're you talking about Owens? It's still 6:00 pm " Rob said.

"Exactly, I gotta get going." Jason replies walking out.

"I have to go to, I have somewhere to be." Nick says.

I understood, Nick was busy most of the time. He was very God fearing and would attend bible studies, and go to church often. I know, he's a very rare kind of guy.

"Seriously? You guys suck." Rob said.

"You can go too baby if you want." Sunny said.

"No, Myka is going through a lot I mean I want to be here for her. I'm also at fault cause I knew but didn't tell." Rob said.

"What the hell? Why?!" Sunny shouted.

"We didn't think it would get this serious!" Rob defended.
