A/N

Apologies for not staying in tune with this lately! >.< I've been having tests and parents to put up with, so this might be a rushed chapter. Also considering the fact that Wattpad decided to totally bitch out for almost two days...(◔_◔)

"Snake, I need for you to go in the manor's garden and pluck a few tulips Finny planted the other day. This is to make a grand bouquet we shall be giving to a lady who is now widowed and favored the company."

Sebastian gave orders to Snake, who hadn't gotten much sleep, or been feeling too well ever since your strange absence since the ball.

"Well then...why can't Finny do it? He is the gardener after all...says Oscar..." He translated from one of his sassy snakes, who they too were getting rather worried at your disappearance.

"Well let's just say that I thought it would be better for our tulips to arrive looking alive and fresh, not droopy and lifeless like the last time he managed to tear them from the dirt." The head butler snapped, turning tail to the sound of a tea set breaking.

Snake only sighed and headed outside, looking for the requested flowers. The basket Sebastian gave him for the plants was full of his snakes at the moment, wriggling and squirming themselves in and out of knots.

The leaves under the reptilian boy's feet crunched as he trudged deeper in the garden, a forested part. He knew this wasn't where the tulips were, but who cares? He could always get them back. Right now, he needed some fresh air on this foggy day. Just a little time to think about Y/N...

A lump in the ground he nearly tripped over, tilting his head to the side with a hint of confusion in his curiosity. Leaves were patched over rather suspiciously, he kicking them over with his rather beat up leather shoes. The snakes in the basket suddenly curled around him, and he turned to them, as if asking if going in the large burrow like hole was safe.

He looked around him before going in.
