A/N

I thought I had finished and was really undecided about adding a new part until now, so here it is. I feel terrible for not keeping up ^^;

Everyone, anyone, I thank you all for sticking with me on this series, this being the last part of it all. ♥️

Now I sense y'all are thirsty for this last part, so here it is!

+ + +

It had been three days since your kidnapping, you'd been rushed to a hospital and cared for, nothing much except for a few wounds the nurse clarified would heal rather quickly. In your favor, Ciel's to be wed Lizzie had thrown a welcoming ball for such an occasion. You thought she was quite annoying, but seemed to tolerate her.

The ball was nearly the same as it was in the beginning of this adventure, your dress now as elegant as it could ever be. You sigh and lean against the wall, watching the ladies chat and gossip their mouths away, the men merrily popping open champagne bottles and slapping each other on the backs.

Sighing, you eye Snake on the other corner of the ball. You give him a nod, a gesture for him to come closer. He walked up, snakes still as lively as ever as they squirmed happily around him once again, not nervously like the were before at your strange absence.

He seemed rather...tense. That's when you remembered! You didn't know how after all this time but, you just did.
"So erm, Snake...what was that thing you wanted to tell me last time?" You tilt your head a bit in interest, blinking curiously at him.
The snake boy's face flushed at your sudden cute expression, blinking and looking down for a bit before looking back up.

"Sh-shall we dance...my lady?"

His nervous air suddenly wrapped around you too, like one of his snakes. That's when it hit you- he wasn't translating for his snakes, meaning this came out of his own thoughts.

Out of his own free will.

You give a wide smile and take his arm, staring in his golden apple eyes.

"Why yes, of course."

The snakes on him were confused but had a happy air of them as the both of your feet start waltzing away.
Snake's feet tangled in yours a few times, and that's when you truly realized why you liked him.

He wasn't perfect, the way other girls want their boys. He was perfect in the ways you wanted, and that seemed to make you ecstatic each time the both of you stepped on each other's feet.

You smile again, this time it a true smile, which was rare coming from your part.
His face was equivalent to a tomato, if only they had slight scales, that is.
Snake gave a weak smile as well, but the meaning behind it you wanted to see forever.

The song eventually ends, the both of you had danced your ways to the empty balcony. Gazing at the night sky, the both of you accidentally end up looking in each other's eyes.
Giving nervous chuckles at the awkwardness, you sigh pleasantly.

A small rough feeling was delivered to your cheek, the touch unmistakable.

Snake's lips.

You turn your head to him, and he looked at you too this time, instead of nervously turning away.

Here you knew he was serious about something.

Without thinking, it seemed, he grabbed your head and roughly slammed his pale ragged lips on your soft pinkish ones.

The meaning behind it was so strong you could almost feel it as the both of your mouths moved, tongues eventually starting to dance.

Upon parting, the reptilian boy gave another one of his faint smiles and pulled you in his ruffled suit.

Feeling the snakes wriggle around under his clothing, you close your eyes and smile at how right it felt.

You giggle a bit at the memory of you wanting to be one of them, under his clothes like that. He looks down at you and blinks a bit, seeming to be taking in the memory.

This was one the both of you made hard to forget.

In a good way.
