Could there ever be a sweeter creature?

Reputation guarding is her aim,

Instinctively averting posting dangers

Then letting me revise to post again.

I heartily applaud this inner critic.

Chime all your warning bells my little friend :))

But I'm a pantser - I write by the seat of my pants, straight onto Wattpad, with no planning or forethought. I always benefit from a reminder to take a step back and look again before I post.

The beauty of Wattpad for me is this:  after writing the first draft, I get on with my day before coming back to neaten up or hugely revise. I can leave a work in draft for a couple of days, But I don't have to leave it until I believe it is perfect.

The inner critic would never say it was perfect!

On wattpad, I can post my work knowing that I can revise again anytime.

I do revise a lot. Even things that have been up for years get tweaked or extended, and I add or replace media from time to time. But I do post. Because I know I am getting there. I am so grateful to my friends on Wattpad for encouraging me beyond measure.
