I feel like my chapters aren't as good as they used to be guys. Like I feel like I'm trying so hard to make them perfect but they turn out not to be perfect, ya know what I mean?

Ding Dong

Ruby's ears perked up as the bell rings.

Ding Dong Ding Dong

"What the hell?" I said out loud. Ruby started barking but when she got closer to the door, she started jumping up and down while scratching the door. "Hey, stop it."

I look into the peep hole and my heart fluttered in excitement once I saw who it was.

"Aahhhhh!" I shriek and opened the door.

"Hello, darling." Alaric says as he kisses my hair. I wrap my legs around his torso even tighter and kissed him.

"I missed you."

"I know. I did too." I ran my hand through his hair and kiss his mouth one more time.

"Now, put me down." He chuckles and put me down and he then bend down to pet Ruby.

"Hey there." He kisses her head. "I missed you too, you know." Ruby got excited and started lucking his face.

I stood there looking at them with a smile on my face. I take a good look at Al to see him wearing a white muscle t-shirt with a pair of dark skinny jeans and a pair of sandals.

He put his duffel bag by the door and took his sandals off.

"What's in the bag?" I ask him as I walk into the kitchen to get us something to eat.

"Clothes, and gifts." He says and took a seat on one of the stools.

"Ooh, gifts." I said and wriggled my eyebrows. "So what do you want to eat?"

"What do you have?"

"So I was watching Food Network last week and saw these amazing recipes for wraps and I was like, oh my god. I should totally make them. So I went to the store and bought the ingredients and made a few. Took a the whole day but I did it!" I said excitedly. Al was seating on the stove watching me with a small smile on his face.
