Ugggg! I can't think, I'm never going to think of a song. I don't think any words will ever be able to describe what I feel for this girl, Amy. She is my heart and soul, her loves like air and I need it to survive, she doesn't only mean the world to me, but she is my world.
Ring! Ring! My phone screen lit up, I was hoping it was Amy, but it was Shane.
"Hello," I said
"Hey, what's up?"
"Trying to write a song, but I'm lost."
"Oooo a song? For what? Or I guess I should ask for who?" I could feel his smirk through the phone, I giggled a little and he did too.
"It's for Amy, I asked her on a date and I wanted this to be part of it, I told her I'd prove my love to her and this is about the best way I know how."
"That is so sweet, I wish guys did that for me."
"Well anyway, why'd you call," I laughed.
"I was actually calling to see if you guys were official, we never made it to that topic in class," he was smirking again I could tell by his voice, that smirk always made me laugh.
" Yes, I asked her to be my girlfriend! You know Shane I could actually use your help?" I had a big plan, and to finish it I'd need help, and who better to help than Shane.
"Ooooo I'm in, what am I helping with?"
"My date with Amy, I have to finish this song so I'll need you to help set the rest up,"
"Aww you guys are just to cute." We spent the next 30 minutes talking over details, this date would be perfect. I needed to get this song done, but how do you describe a love so beautiful. All I managed to scribbled down so far was
Ever since the day, that I saw you
I had fireworks fill my life
Everyday is like a story
Visions of you in every sight
I sat there staring at those four lines for what felt like hours. Suddenly the sparks went off and I was writing, my song writing came in spurts, ideas would just flow, only suddenly to stop, but this time was different, I managed to finish the song...Finally!!

I swear this day couldn't be going any slower, it was only 4 o'clock. Amy didn't know about the date, I was gonna make it a surprise, she always did cute things now it was my turn. I had the song ready, Shane was setting up our picnic on the roof, and I left the note with Lauren to give to Amy. This night was going to be perfect. I decided on the roof because it was Amy's favorite place to sneak away, as afraid of heights as I was, I was going to do this for her. Shane had offered to help set the rest up, he wouldn't tell me what he was doing but he said it would be perfect, but we'll see. I took Lauren the note when I knew Amy had left, she was going to be so surprised. Along with the note I left a white lace dress, white vans ( because she isn't crazy girlie, but I love her), and a list of instructions. I've never been that good at romance, but Amy loved stuff like this. I was sending her on a treasure hunt, she enjoyed this, she loved doing them for me, so now it's my turn. I thought of our first and places that meant a lot to both of us, those were my clues. In the end she read the last clue leading her to the roof, where our dinner, and Shane's surprise would be waiting. Once we finished dinner I'd pull out my guitar and sing, sing a song I specially wrote for her. After that's all said and done I'd give her the final clue leading her back to my room for a night of Netflix and cuddles. Let's see how good her memory is, who am I kidding out of the both of us, hers is the best. Soon she'd see and I knew this would help prove my love, or at least I thought so.
