Karma's Pov:

Christmas, one of my favorite holidays, not only would I get to spend it with my best friend, but also my girlfriends, lucky for me they were the same person. If the past month has shown me anything it has shown me that the love of my life has been with me all along. I was once so scared to accept my feelings thinking that this could mess up our friendship past fixing, but I was wrong. I accepted these feelings and that had to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. Amy was the light of my life, she always has been, it just took me going into a dark place to realize it.
I had spent hours upon ours trying to figure out what to get her for Christmas. I wanted to make it special, I know we've had tons of Christmas's together, but this one was different. She told me she had something to do today so I figured I'd search the mall and hopefully find her gift.

Amy's Pov:
Karma wasn't suspicious at all when I told her I had some stuff to do today, little did she know it was for her. I spend my whole morning down at the Guitar Center, I search through all their guitars till I found the perfect one. Man it was perfect, it was a Hummingbird, those details were exquisite. The sunburst color and the pick guard perfectly etched with hummingbirds. I walked up to the register guitar in hand, ready to go.
             "Ready?" The cashier asked
"Yep," I said smiling, handing him the guitar. I couldn't wait to see her face when she got this.
"That will be $350," he said.
"Here ya go," I said handing him my card, I was prepared I had been saving some money for a while now, and I just finally found what to use it on. He handed the guitar back and I walked out to my car. Once in the car I was ready to head home.

Karma's Pov:
After going through almost every store in the mall I stumbled upon an electronic store. Amy had an eye for filming so I knew she'd like anything I found in here. Me, I could take pictures, but Amy, knew so much. She could film, take pictures, edit, and so much more. When it came to technology and filming she had a back for it. Where my passion was music hers was filming.
I don't know much about any of this so I chose to talk to a rep from the store, he showed me around for a good 15 minutes and showed me all the best cameras. After going back and forth between two cameras I finally settled on a Sony HVR-Z1P Digital HDV 1080i High Definition Handycam Camcorder. I was so happy I had finally found a gift, I was starting to think I'd never find one. Grabbing the camera I made my way to the register.
"Find everything you need?" The cashier said.
"Yep I did," I said smiling as I handed him the camera.
"That'll be $400."he smiled, I handed him my card. That much money would seem like a lot of it wasn't on a person who mattered so much. She deserved everything, I may not be able to give her that, but I can give her happiness. This camera would make her happy. Just as I'm walking out to my car my phone buzzes.
Babe: I love you and hope you had a great day, are you gonna be my date to my moms Christmas party? ;)
I smiled at the text, I couldn't help but get butterflies every time her name came up on my phone. I texted her back of course.
Me: Of course I'll be your date, I wouldn't want anyone stealing my girl ;)
Babe: Great! I'll pick you up at 7, I love you see you soon.
Me: I love you too babe more than anything.
How could I not see such an amazing girl right in front of my face. There was nothing I regretted more in my life than not taking that chance with Amy the night of her moms wedding. When I said no I missed so much, I just wish I could take it all back. But lucky me she took me back, I'm so glad she did. I'm happy with her, happier than I've ever been with anyone.
Time to head home. I pulled into the driveway about 5:30 that gives me about an hour and a half to wrap her gift and hide it, plus get dressed for the party. I carried the camera upstairs setting it on my bed as I walked into my closet to find an outfit. I went through 3 dresses till I finally settled on this simple blue spaghetti strap dress and black heels. On my way out of the closet I grabbed the wrapping paper, glancing at the clock it was now 6:30, I had half and hour left. I quickly wrapped the gift, making sure each edge was done perfectly before placing a bow on top, then writing.
To Amy: Let's capture our memories together.
From: Your one true love Karma
I walked into my closet hiding the present back in with my shoes, Amy would never look there cause I own shoes that she'd never wear, she was more into combat boots and sneakers, I preferred heels and things. I slipped on the dress and heels and wandered into the bathroom, time for makeup and hair.
