The Ravens

Chapter 5

"Shut the fuck up!" I shouted out at everyone who was either in the living room or the kitchen or something. They were being extremely loud and I wanted sleep. Someone in the room groaned and I looked over to see Benji waking up. I whispered, "Sorry Benj."

"It's aight." He said sleepily. I smirked, he has a hot voice when he is sleepy. He opened one eye and saw me smirking at him, him smirking back. Well fuck. He needs to stop. I get up out of bed and walk out to see what all the ruckus is about. Everyone was absorbed into this game of CoD that both Billy and Jake were playing, except for Joel who was nowhere to be found, probably in his own room.

No one noticed me and I just had an amazing idea. I rushed back into my room. "Benji," I sung, "Do you have an air horn or something that is really loud?"

He opened his eyes and looked at me skeptically before he caught on to what I was thinking and smirked along with me. "No but I'm pretty sure Joel does."

I walk over to Joel's room and knock lightly, opening the door and peeking in. I saw Joel on his, facetiming with his family. "Sorry for interrupting, quick question Joelly!"

"Who's that?" I heard young Harlow say from his phone.

"Sure, what's up?" Joel said, ignoring his daughter's question for a second. I grinned evilly at him and he looked at me weirdly.

"You don't happen to have an air horn or something really loud, do you?" I said sweetly. He raised an eyebrow at me.

"Daddy?" I heard Harlow say. Joel looked at his phone and then back at me, motioning me forward, so I did. He faced the phone so I was in the view of the camera as well as Joel. Harlow and her mother, Nicole Richie were on the phone. I grinned at them.

"Harlow's grown so much! SO CUTE! Oh my gosh. Hi Nicole!" I waved at them both. They both looked at me weirdly, probably because they didn't know who I was. "Oh oops, I'm Jade-Riley from The Ravens. Sorry for the intrusion. Now, Joel, that airhorn? Quick man! Or I'll miss my chance. Benji said you might have atleast SOMETHING."

"Right, I won't be a sec you two," He smiled at them before putting his phone down and looking for something in his suitcase. He pulled out a red airhorn and held it up at me, "This, right?"

"Yes! Thank you so much Joel, you're awesome!" I said taking it from him, hugging him quickly before rushing out to the living room. Luckily everyone was still absorbed into the TV and took no notice of me. I blocked one of my ears (since I only had one hand free) and pushed down on the airhorn. Everyone jumped and yelped, Drew screaming like a girl and jumping into Jake's arms. Everyone turned to me and glared, I grinned sheepishly before running off into Benji and I's room for protection when Kylie and Drew ran after me, "Holy shit, Benji! Benji! SAVE ME!"

I jumped behind Benji, who was only in shorts and was getting dressed, for protection. He just stood there in a daze for a second until Kylie and Drew came barging in, "Jade-Riley Hill! I'm going to kill you!"

I squealed and hid behind Benji. Benji moved out of the way and let Kylie and Drew get to me. "You traitor!" I shouted at Benji before using my basketball dodging skills and running past Kylie and Drew and into Joel's room. "Joel you're my only hope! Benji failed on me!"

I jumped over to the other side of Joel's bed and ducked down so Kylie and Drew couldn't see me. Hopefully I was fast enough that they didn't see me go in here. "Yo, Joel, have you seen Jade?"

"Sorry nope." I heard Joel say and then I heard Kylie and Drew walk away, trying to find me. "All clear."

I sighed in relief and apologized to him and to his wife. Nicole just smiled at me and told me it was fine. I looked at Joel and mouthed (with an excited look on my face of course) 'She's so nice!!' He laughed at me and told me to get out so he could have alone time with his wife.
