I heard clapping from behind us once Kylie and I finished playing I Miss You. I look behind the see Joel and Benji there, smirking and clapping. Kylie and I glanced at eachother, smirked and looked back at the twins and told them to come and join us. So they did. We all sat in a small circle, more like a square I guess.
"How long have you guys been a band anyways?" Benji asked us, Joel nodding and looking at us for an answer.
"Uhm. 'Bout a few months now, I guess but Drew, Kylie and I have been jamming together since we were 9. Music was a getaway for me since I... didn't have the greatest relationship with my father." I answered and then Kylie pitched in, "and we met Jake when we were 13."
"Oh right, well, you guys have great talent, I can really see you guys going a long way. You guys are what, only like, 17? 18? You guys have a ways to go." Joel told us. We smiled at him with appreciation and admiration. I glanced at Benj and saw him looking at me, I blushed and looked away. I drummed lightly on the cajón drum. Both Joel and Kylie decided to go out and chill with the other guys, leaving me with Benji. I glared at Kylie as she smirked at me.
My eyes went back to Benji, looking at his tattoos. He was wearing a tight black shirt, black jeans with his usual black cap on. I took off my cap and said, "Swapsies?"
He chuckled and took off his cap and put mine on, me doing the same with his. I tried to imitate his voice and pulled a piece sign, "Yo, I'm Benji."
"Dude, that's not how I sound." He laughed at me. I ignored him and walked out of the room towards the living room, imitating him.
"Yo yo yo, I'm Benj, I'm so cool."
Everyone just looked at me as if I was a weirdo and I pouted when no one laughed. "Fine," I said, taking off Benji's cap and taking Joel's hat, putting it on my head, "Yo, I'm Joel Madden, music's cool."
Still, everyone just stared at me. I stood their awkwardly. Blink. I slowly walked backwards out of the room until I tripped over someone's shoe and fell on my butt. Everyone burst out laughing at me.
"Oh.. my gosh... Raven!" Kylie tried to say between laughs. She rolled off the couch laughing which made everyone, even me, laugh harder. We laughed for a solid 5 minutes before we all just sat there in a comfortable silence. Benji helped me up from the floor as it was his shoe that I fell over.
"Hey um, I'm gonna go out for a little." I said, giving Joel his hat back and putting Benji's cap back on.
"Ya what me to come with?" Jake asked but I shook my head and walked to Benji and I's room to get my jacket and wallet. I walked to the front door, calling out to them,
"I'll be back at around 3-4pm."
I needed to get out and get some fresh air. Clear my head. Everything has happened so quickly. I shoved my hairs into my jacket pockets, pulling the hood over my head so only the brim of the snapback was visible. I walked out of the hotel and into the streets. I passed a familiar nightclub and stopped outside of it.
Sweaty bodies grinded against eachother to the loud music. Everything was blurry. I smiled and put my arms up, grinding up against my boyfriend, Kyle. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck, his hands guiding their way down to the hem of my pants. My heart was beating fast, not out of pleasure either. Panic. My eyes widened and I pushed his hands away and turned around to face him.
