"Okay so, I Miss You, Emotionless, 40 oz. Dream, I Just Wanna Live, 21 Guns, Good Riddance, Basket Case, Sick Little Games and Bail Me Out?" I went over our songs for our gig. The band nodded and grinned. We were meant to be playing tonight and we were beyond nervous. We have been practicing really hard for this day. We have uploaded some more videos to our youtube and we now have over 400 subscribers. Everyone in town knows about us. "Gah, I'm so nervous and excited! This is it guys! We're doing it, our first step into the music industry."

"I can't believe it." Drew muttered to himself, "This is actually happening."

We did a little more practicing before we headed to our houses and got ready. I decided to wear my Nirvana singlet with a red and black flannel tied around my waist, black skinny jeans and my black converse. I tamed my hair slightly before grabbing my bag and my drum sticks and heading out the door to the pub where we were all to meet at 7:15pm. No one was playing before us so that gave us about 15 minutes to set up. I was so nervous!

When I got there, Jake was leaning up against the wall of the pub. I walked over to him and he hugged me. "You ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." I grinned nervously. We exchanged small talk while we waited for the twins to get here. They got here 5 minutes late but that was okay. Kylie had brought her video camera and stand to record our whole first show. We walked in and asked the guy behind the bad about where we were to set up. He guided us to a small black stage in the corner that had a drum kit, a few amps and some microphones set up. We all stumbled nervously around the stage as we tried to set up everything, I could feel all the eyes on us.

I sat on my stool in front of the drum kit and did some basic warm ups as the guys tuned their guitars. We all stopped and smiled at eachother and we started playing I Miss You.

"Hello there..."

The crowd applauded us as we finished up our gig. We had attracted quite a lot of people and they were all smiling and clapping at us.

"We're The Ravens, I'd like to thank you all for listening and I hope you enjoyed, have a good rest of your night." I said and we all started to pack up. A few people came and talked to us, some even put some money in Jake's guitar case which was set up at the front of the stage. Kylie and I hugged and squealed quietly.

"We did it!" She exclaimed happily, "Our first gig! And the crowd loved us!"

Once we were all packed up, the guy behind the bar from earlier thanked us and we walked out, laughing and joking around like usual. We were all going to stay at my house for the night but Kylie, Drew and Jake had to go home quickly to get their stuff first so we all split ways and headed home.

I walked through the door and was bombarded with questions by Sadie, "So how'd it go? Did you attract a lot of people? What happened? Did you mess up at all? Were y-"

"Sadie, shut the fuck up," I said, "But yes, the gig went well. Got 'bout $23 and 70 cents total. Mum! Everyone will be over soon!"

"Okay honey!" I heard her call out from somewhere in the house before I jogged down stairs and started to set up beds and such for everyone. I logged in to twitter on my phone while I waited and decided to tweet:
