I was quiet most of the flight home, I was nervous I hope that Jax will get to the bottom of what happened all those years ago. When we landed we took the van back to the clubhouse Gemma was throwing me a welcome home party. I wasn't in the mood for partying but what Gemma wants Gemma gets so I'm going to have to tough it up. I hadn't stepped foot in Charming in 10 years I'm sure everything has changed I looked out the window quietly observing everything. I felt someone touch my hand and I looked over and it was Jax he was smiling at me while he drove "you good?" He asked I smiled back and nodded "just taking everything in that's all" I said "can I like shower before we go to the clubhouse? I'm really dirty and I don't want anyone to see me like this" I asked "of course I'll have my mom meet us at my house with some clothes I'm sure you want to not wear what you have on" jax said "yeah I'd do anything for a pair of shoes. My feet are killing me" I said Jax used his phone to call Gemma to meet her at his house i wasn't ready to see people yet. I really just wanted to sleep and wash myself about a thousand times.
Jax pulled into his driveway and I was shocked on how good the house looked Jax was never a tidy person from what I remember but maybe he's changed. "This is it I'll have the guys take the van back and if your cool with it we will go on my bike" Jax said getting out of the van "yeah that's fine" I said Gemma was waiting at the door for us "oh Harley" she said hugging me extremely tight "hey ma" I said quietly hugging her back. We entered the house and I looked around, there was no way that jax lived like this it was too neat and looked too nice. I followed Gemma down the hall to the bedroom in the back it must of been Jaxs since there were dirty clothes everywhere "some things never change huh?" I chuckled Gemma laughed "go jump in the shower and ill have some things for you to pick out, it's so nice to have you home Jax has been through the ringer since you left" Gemma said "it's nice to be home. Everything feels different though I feel out of place maybe since I haven't been here in ten years even as changes I'm sure Jax has too, I have" I said leaning against the door frame "everything will work out baby girl your the love of his life" Gemma said "Gemma we haven't discussed anything. I'm just happy to be home. I don't want anything right now, I'm more concerned with getting a job and somewhere to live I can't live off Jackson" I said "baby you really think he's going to allow that?" Gemma asked putting her hands on her hips "jax doesn't own me. I'm not his old lady he can't control me" I said. Gemma and i never really saw eye to eye when it came to Jax. "Give it time" she said walking out of the bedroom. I closed the bathroom door and slowly undressed thinking about what Gemma said. I wasn't sure what i wanted. I'm sure Jax doesn't feel the way he did all those years ago, nor was I going to get my hopes up

I waited in the kitchen for Harley to finish in the shower when I say my mother come from the bedroom. I knew Harley didn't want to go to the party, she probably just wanted to sleep and eat some real food I imagine. "So is it different having her back?" My mother asked I shrugged my shoulders"I'm not sure yet ma, hasn't even been 48 hours reality hasn't hit yet she still looks the same though" I said lighting a smoke "yes she sure does those piercing eyes of hers, she could kill me with those things" my mother laughed "what's your intentions here Jackson" she asked again "ma not now she just came home there's nothing it was gone a long time ago, besides her and I have alot to catch up on" I said taking a drag "you tell her about Abel?" She asked "No. I haven't I haven't had a chance to talk to her yet" I said blowing the smoke out of my nose. "Well I can have neeta stay with him at my house till tomorrow after school but that's it" my mother said I nodded my head I didn't want to tell her just yet "I'll tell her ma don't worry" I said "you better son before I do, she's hot headed you know this I'm surprised she even called it's been so long I'm sure there's more then she's telling" she mentioned"nah I think this was inside Jimmy knew we were coming someone called the Irish to warn them I was on my way" I said standing up as I saw the bedroom door open. She looked beautiful as she walked down the hall running her hands through her wet hair "feel better" I asked meeting her in the hallway "oh you have no clue" she laughed "thank you guys for letting me do that" she said hugging me. She definitely smelt better then she did before. "Hey I want to tell you something" I said walking into the living room with her and sitting on the couch she sat next to me "what's up?" She said scooting to the edge of the cushion "so you've been gone a long time and things have changed hell I've changed" I said she nodded "I have a son" I said "really? Where? What's his name? Can I meet him?" She asked excitedly I wasn't expecting that reaction "he's with the nanny till tomorrow and his name is Abel he's 5" I said "I can't believe your a dad who would of thought Jax Teller would be a father" she laughed making me laugh "I know right, you'll meet him tomorrow when he gets out of school" I said "so your married? Where's your wife can I meet her too?" She asked "no I'm not married, divorced didn't work out with Abel's mom and I she's in a sober living somewhere she doesn't come around much" I said Harley nodded "ok good i didn't want to be stepping on anyone's toes or baby mama drama" she said "are you ok with me staying here with your son living here? I'm sure I could find somewhere else to stay" she said "no Harls it's fine I'm sure Abel will adore you, but watch out he's got the Teller charm" I laughed "oh great two of you in the same house I'm doomed" she laughed hard. God I missed that "you ready?" I asked standing up she followed and nodded "of course are we staying here or the clubhouse tonight?" She asked following me to the door "depends on how much we drink" I said she chuckled knowing that was always the answer when she asked where we were staying I put my arm around her shoulders and kissed her temple "it's good to have you home Harls" I said she looked up at me "it's good to be home Jax, thanks for coming to get me" she said I kissed her forehead "no need to thank me, I should be thanking you for calling me its been too long" I said opening the door and letting her walk out first. I finally have the missing piece in my life the one I've been searching for.
