Chapter 9

I took Ava out of her maxi cosi and sat down on our couch with her in my arms, Ezra walked in with all our bags. We were dismissed from the hospital and after two busy weeks in the hospital we could finally go home. The girls would come soon to have some girl time with our newest family member. Ava was still fast asleep, she had a little bunch of brown hair on the top of her head her eyes were for now still blue but they could change to brown or another color.

Ezra sat down next to me putting an arm around my waist. "I love my beautiful girls" he said kissing the top of my and Ava's head. There was a knock on the door. "That must be the girls" I said while Ezra stood up and opened the door. "Hey daddy" Hanna said hugging Ezra. The other girls followed her movement and walked to the couch. "Do you girls want something to drink? Something like Fanta, water, coffee, tea, we have beer and wine too" Ezra asked from the kitchen. "Some water for me" said Emily "a cup of tea for Aria and Hanna and a coffee for Spencer please." "Okay." "So, Ar. How does it feel to be home with Ava" Spencer asked. "Really good! I'm just a little tired of all the things that happened but I'm glad you girls could come." "Always Aria" Hanna said. "So I know she's asleep right now but who wants to hold her first?" They all pointed at Hanna. "We discussed that already in the car, Hanna is the first" Spencer said while I laughed at them. I went over to Hanna and handed Ava to her, the smile that appeared on her face was priceless. I felt so happy, I was with the most important girls in my life and for once we looked just like normal people, like normal friends. No 'A.D.' Just us. Ezra walked in with our drinks and the sat down next to me. He laid one hand on my thigh. "If you're tired you can just go upstairs, you know that right" he whispered. "I know but I like having my friends over.." "Aria, if you're really tired you can go to bed. You don't have to wait for us. We'll just cuddle up with Ava anyways, don't get me wrong though. I love having you here but you look like you could use a lot of sleep" Alison said. "Nah, I'll be fine."

They all cuddled with Ava and had taken cute pictures with her. After what seems like hours they all left and Ezra and I finally had some alone time with our daughter. Don't get me wrong I love my friends but right now I could finally look up at Ezra and thanks him for this beautiful gift he gave me. "Ezra? I haven't thanked you yet." "For what" he asked grabbing an apple. "For our beautiful daughter." "Well I didn't do that on my own, I mean you were the one carrying her for like 9 months. Did you or one of the girls hear from 'A.D.' again?" "Do we really need to talk about that" I said, I really didn't want to talk about that... "but no we haven't heard from it." And right at that moment Ezra's phone started buzzing, he opened the message.

He opened the attachment and I gasped. There was a photo of Ava with the text:

'Another angel went to heaven'

"I freaking hate this person, if I found out who this is I'm going to kill him..her I don't care what it is." I heard myself screaming. "Aria, please calm down. This person is just scaring you, I will never let him take Ava away from you. Listen to me" he said wiping my tears away "Ava will be okay. Come on we'll go to sleep."

The whole night I had been tossing and turning, with every sound I heard, I looked over at Ava if she was still okay. She was the perfect baby, she (mostly) slept through the whole night and she didn't cry as much as most babies do. "Aria, you're still awake" Ezra said. I sat on the edge of the bed, holding Ava. "Come on Aria, you need to rest. I'll watch Ava." He sat next to me and took Ava from me. "Ezra I'm scared, I'm so damn scared." "It's okay Aria, everyone would be scared. And I'm going to do everything I can to protect you and Ava. I will find this person so you and your friends can finally rest. I love you Aria, if anything happens. I love you." "I love you too." He placed Ava in her bed and I rested my head on his chest while he placed an arm around me. "We'll come up with a plan."

"So when is the ezria wedding happening" Hanna asked when we were all getting coffee, everyone just stared at her including me "what?! He proposed in front of us, right. No I swear that couldn't be a dream." I laughed. "No Han, he did propose. It's just that..we want to marry in peace. While I'm happy, we hope to find this new stalker called 'A.D.' soon so I can finally rest and marry him." "You really think we can catch it again" Alison asked. "Why not, it's probably someone we don't see every day but annoys us when we do. Maybe it's Jenna or someone like her. I mean I see her at the strangest moments." "But why would she want to take Ava" Spencer asked. I thought about that for a moment before I answered "because she knows Ava makes me happy, because she's Ezra's and I love him. She knows I would do anything for Ava and Ezra. It won't surprise me when she asks me to join the A-team or she'll hurt one of them." My phone started buzzing, the girls immediately looked up. I took my phone and saw the caller ID. "It's just Ezra." I answered the phone call.

"Hey, something wrong?" " I just got a text from A.D. and it wants me to join the A-team. I think I should do it, maybe it will bring us to the final person. Which means I could get rid of it." "You're not joining" I immediately said. "What's going on" Emily asked. Apparently Ezra heard that. "Put me on speaker please." I put him on speaker. "They can hear you." "Okay so what I just told Aria is that I got a text asking if I wanted to join the A-team. I think I should do it, I could lead us to the actual person.." "Ezra you're not doing that." "Aria, it is our only change." "No you're not going to do that, I'm coming home right now." I hang up on him and said good bye to the girls. I quickly drove home and I could hear Ezra end another phone call. "Who were you talking to" I asked while I came in the house. "Just a friend."
