I was sitting in the living room with Eden when our mentor came in saying "Good news. At least half of the Victors want you as an ally." "They saw her throw." Eden said. "I still don't want any allies. I'm gonna go it on my own." I said. "I'll tell them your still making up your mind." He said walking out of the room... We were currently waiting for our individual assessment. I didn't know what I was going to do. All I could do right now was think about Finnick and glance at him every once in a while. I didn't know if he was just messing with me. So that he could kill me in The Games or if he really cared... "District 10, Lily Stones. Please report for individual assessment." It said over the intercom. I got up a walk into the room. "You have 20 minutes to present your chosen skill." Plutarch said. I took a bunch of paints and painted faces of the capital including snow. Onto dummies hanging them and then throwing daggers at each one of them. Hitting them in the head and heart every time. I bowed saying "The odds are never in my favor." Then walking off... As I was put into my dress covered yet again in make-up. I listened as Finnick started reciting a poem. "My love, you have my heart. For all eternity, and if I die in that arena. My last thought will be of your lips." He said. My bruises were going away, but they still looked nasty. It was my turn to go on stage as I finished getting ready. "Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome Lily." He said and I walked on stage in the beautiful gown that was picked out for me. We didn't start talking till the applause stopped. "So it seems our little has grown into something more. When we first saw her. She was stuck in her Cocoon. Now she's the beautiful butterfly we see here today." He said making people applaud. "Well how did you feel when you found out that you would be doing this again?" He asked. "I felt about me having to leave my brother again." I said. "Is there anything you would like to say to him. If he is watching?" He questioned. "Yes, If he is watching this I would like for him to know. That I'm sorry about mom and dad. And I know that you hate me, but I will never stop loving you, Sammy." I said standing up and walking to where the other victors were. I didn't really start paying attention again till Peeta came on and said that Katniss is pregnant. I was shocked and so was Katniss. When I looked at her face. Peeta was saying it to somehow gave us a chance not to have to do The Games. I knew it wouldn't work though. The crowd started to go into a frenzy and Peeta walked up here. All of us holding hands and bowing till the lights went off. Making us hold hands just to get off off the stage... We had to go say goodbye to our mentors and escorts, but I wanted to be alone. I laid down till I heard the knock on my door. Then I got up with Flaire walking me to the hovercraft. Where they put the tracker in my arm. We got to where I had to get into my capsule. I was saying goodbye to Flaire. "The suit is light. No thermal. So I'd guess tropics or desert." She said to me. "I'm sorry you had to go through all of this. You deserved better." She said tearing up. "Thank you." I said as she put my ring in a tiny pocket on my suit. "10 seconds till launch." The thing said. "Goodbye." We both said hugging each other. I climbed into the capsule as the doors shut. The launch started.
