I woke up to Finnick passing us fish. I had medicine on my wound. I looked at it questioning. "Sponsors sent it. You were pass out from loss of blood when I applied it. I caught some fish if your hungry." He said passing me a fish as I slowly sat you wincing in pain. "Here." Finnick said putting one of his hand s on my back and one on my stomach. Helping me sit up. "Thanks." I said. "Look. For you." Peeta said handing Katniss a pearl. I smiled and took a bite of the fish. It was gross, but I was hungry and it they were still alive after eating. I'm sure I'd be fine. We heard screaming and Peeta said "That's new." We all stood up and watched as a spot flooded the trees. A hovercraft came and got the body of the a fallen one. "Someone's here." Katniss said getting an arrow ready. We all scooted back and watched. When Finnick says Johanna and walks towards them. "Johanna!" He yells breaking into a run. "Finnick!" She yells back. Making me wonder if they were a couple. "Guess we have more allies." Peeta said walking to them along with Katniss. I wasn't sure whether to run away or to go with them. So I sat down as I watched Johanna and Katniss fight. When Finnick dragged Johanna off into the water to stop the fight. I sat there till Katniss came and told me it was okay to follow. I followed them to the cornucopia. Even though I still didn't trust them. "This entire arena seems to be laid out like a clock with a new threat every hour, but they stay only within their wedge. It all starts with the lightning, Then the blood rain, fog, monkeys. That's the first four hours. At ten that big wave hits from over there." Katniss says. "Wiress, you're a genius." Me and Finnick tell her at the same time, but not on purpose. Which makes me blush. "Look, the tail points at 12." Peeta points out. "That's where the lightning strikes at noon and midnight." I said. "Strikes where?" Beetee asks me. "That big tree." I answered. "Good." He says. We all walk over to Peeta who is drawing a map. "So 12 to 1, lightning. Then 1 to 2 is. Blood. Then fog, and then monkeys." Peeta said. "And then 10 to 11, the wave." I said. "What about everything else? Did you guys see anything?" Katniss asks. "Nothing, but blood." Johanna answers. "It doesn't matter. As long as we steer clear of which ever sector is active. We'll be safe." Peeta says. "Yeah, relatively speaking." Finnick said as we heard Wiress gasp. We looked over and saw Gloss stab Wiress. The canon went off. I quickly shot an arrow into gloss's heart. Making him fall into the water with Wiress. Johanna pushed Katniss out of the way throwing her axe straight at Cashmere's head. When Brutus and Enobaria showed up. Enobaria threw a dagger into Finnick thigh. Then ran off with Brutus. Me, Johanna, and Katniss following after. When the entire thing started to spin around really fast. I didn't have time to grab ahold of something and I fell down. With my head slamming against the rocks. I passed out falling into the water... I turned over on my side coughing up water. Everyone was standing above me. Except Finnick who was right next to me and pulled me into a hug. "What happened?" I asked touching my head. "You hit your head on one of the rocks. Passing out, you drowned. Finnick dove into the water to find you and gave you mouth to mouth." Johanna said. I pulled my hand away from my head to see blood. "I need to breathe." I said to Finnick since he wouldn't let me go. I didn't realize he had been crying till he pulled away. His eyes were really red and puffy. He looked like a sad puppy. It hurt me to see him looking like that so I pulled him back into a hug. "Grab what you guys need. We need to get off this thing." Johanna said. I knew she was really just telling everyone to give us space. When they left to go grab weapons. Finnick said "I thought I Iost you too." He said pulling away. "I didn't know you cared that much about me." I said. "That and more." He said. "Well in that case, I hope you don't mind me doing this." I said leaning up and kissing him. Which he returned putting his arm around my waist and leaning more into it. We pulled away for breath and I stared into his beautiful sea green eyes. "What do we do no?" I asked referring to the fact that we are stuck in the Games and at least on of of will have to die. If not both of us. "Live out our short infinity. I was lucky enough to meet you. Now all we can do is live out what we have." He said. I nodded and he helped me up as we walked to the others. They stared at us and I grabbed a belt of daggers off of the floor. Holding Finnick's hand when I stood back. We all walked back to the beach. "So besides Brutus and Enobaria, who's left?" Katniss asked. "Maybe Chaff, Just those three." Peeta answered. "They know they're outnumbered. I doubt they'll attack again. We're safe here on the beach." Finnick said and wrapped his arm around my waist as I leaned into him. "So what do we do? We hunt' em down?" Johanna asked. When all of a sudden I heard Sam yelled for me. "Lily help me!" He yelled. I took off sprinting into the forest. "Sam! Sam! Sammy!" I yelled looking for him. I suddenly heard my voice yelling for Finnick too, but it wasn't really me. If that makes sense. I saw it was a jabberjay that was doing it. Finnick and Katniss ran up to me to see I was fine. A bunch of them started to show up as we ran away. "Help me! Lily, help!" Was all I could hear. Katniss ran into the border and we couldn't pass as more and more of them showed up. They sounded like my mom, dad, brother, and Clarke. I fell to my knees screaming as Finnick tried to comfort me. I was shaking by the time it was all done. They tried to get me up, but I wouldn't budge. So Finnick picked me up to carrying me in his arms as I held on to his chest shaking. We walked back to the beach.
