(Dragon) Mreader X RWBY 2

CH. 9

(Y/n) POV

Me and the demon stared each other down as people who that were near us all ran away screaming in terror. The demon looked down at them and was about to start grabbing them and probably eating them but I used this quick opportunity to shoulder check him away 'Focus on me' I thought as it regained it's footing. It got back on it's feet and hissed at me, it then started to charge at em. I grabbed it's horns to hold it back and it grabbed my arms and dug it's sharp nails into my arms. I let out a groan at it doing that so I twisted it's head towards the ground and we both let go of each other. It tried to get up but I used my foot and stomped it's head into the ground. It seemed to have little effect because it caught my foot and managed to spin me around and it threw me back towards the academy. I got back on my feet and saw the demon heading straight for me and it was coming fast. Before I could react it smashed into me and picked me up and threw me down again. It then walked over to where I was and it failed to notice that my hand was now engulfed in red lightning and I slashed across it's face. It let out a pained yelp and it tried to wipe the blood off of it's face so I took this opportunity to jump up on it's shoulders and I grabbed it's top jaw and pulled hard. I kept pulling until I heard a satisfying wet ripping and cracking sound and it stopped struggling and dropped dead. I let out a deep breath and dropped it's head and turned back into a human

"that, was harder than I expected" I said siting down on the ground. I saw it's black blood coming out of the multiple cuts I gave it

"(y/n), you alright?" I heard Ruby yell down to me

"yeah, I'm fine" I said laying on my back. The rest of my team also got down here and Nova walked up to the demon and poked it and said

"I imagined worse"

"Heh, this was a low level demon ,nothing compare dot some of the demons that help Salem, but he still put up a fight" I said now laying on my back and tapping the air with my foot. They all started poking the demon's corpse and my team seemed to be a bit more cautious about it rather than RWBY was

"Hey Weiss, look" Ruby said and went up to the demons head and made a similar smile to what was on it's face

"hah, nice" Yang said and she turned her back to Ruby. Everyone failed to notice that the demon wasn't dead yet, one of it's eyes were wide open and it was looking at Ruby. We were all so caught up in talking with one another we failed to notice it's mouth slowly opening.By the time some one noticed it's jaws were wide open

"Ruby, move!" Rabbit yelled and pushed her out of the way and taking the hit for himself. I'm gonna spare the gory details, but I did use the demon's skull to make some modern art.

Time skip

3rd POV

Rabbit was laying in a hospital bed with bandages on his body when he started to wake up

"Where am I?" he said lifting up his right arm

"your in the hospital" a voice said and he looked over and saw (Y/n) standing in the doorway

"You got pretty messed up bud, how're you feeling?" he said coming into the room

"Like I got hit by a bus" Rabbit said holding his head

"Well, you kinda did"

"how so?" and (Y/n) walked over and tapped his left leg

"like I said, you got fucked up" his left leg was now metal and mechanical

"Anything else"

"yep, your eye" and (Y/n) handed him a mirror and he looked into it. Rabbit noticed his left eye was now blue instead of red

"you gave us quite a scare for doing that" (Y/n) said sitting in a chair

"What was I supposed to do, let Ruby get eaten?"

"No, but you maybe could have, I don't know, pulled her away instead?"

"Your not helping"

"Alright, I'm sorry, I'll let you get some rest" and (Y/n) got up to leave. As he got to the door he looked back over his shoulder and said

"Hey Rabbit, don't go dying on me just yet, I didn't say you could go out yet" and Rabbit chuckled to him self

"I'll remember that and (Y/n), thanks for, you know, helping me out" and (Y/n) chuckled

"It's my job as your team leader to keep you safe, and if that means carrying your ass to the last standing hospital in Vale, so be it, but hey, we dragons are special, when we get hurt, we come back that much stronger" and Rabbit chuckled

"easy for you to say, nothing can hurt you"

"Not all the way true but hey, maybe now you can beat Nova in an arm wrestle"

"No one can beat her in an arm wrestle"

"Hah, yeah, well get better soon, Star"

"Thanks (D/n)" and (Y/n) left leaving Rabbit to look out his hospital window as the sun set over the bay.
