Ch. 19

Ruby POV

"So why do you guys think the maidens are coming here for?" Yang said sitting on her bed 

"I don't know, maybe the demon's that have been running around?" Weiss said with large amount of sarcasm in her voice 

"Or they could be here to help find the new fall maiden?" Blake said not taking her eyes off of her book 

"That could be the case, but they also might be here because they some how found out about (Y/n), and the other dragons here" I said looking out the window 

"Well, what ever the reason, let's just get some sleep" Yang said and we all laid down in our beds. In my dream I was sitting on the ground. I looked around and saw what looked like Beacon, but, something wasn't right, the place was completely destroyed with craters and fire everywhere. I looked around some more and saw the scythe that (Y/n) lead us to on the ground and completely shattered. I got up to my feet and saw my teammates lying on the ground covered in bruises and blood. As much as I tried to say something words wouldn't come out. I then looked over and saw the city burning, and I could hear people screaming and crying. I then noticed a large shape walking through the city destroying buildings as it walked. It then let out a loud roar that knocked a few buildings over and I could see people running from it. It then bent it's head down and black mist came out of it's mouth and the mist engulfed the people before they could get away. I wanted to get up and run over there but something was pinning my foot down and I saw that my ankle was twisted pretty badly. My attention was then taken by something causing a large amount of wind to come from behind me. I looked back over my shoulder and saw a similar large black shape, that I couldn't make out any colors or any specific shape to it, the only things I could make out was it's soulless, and shining silver eyes. It then opened it's mouth and moved down quickly to eat me. Right before It did a bright flash of light woke me up 

"AHH!" I screamed and sprung straight up in my bed 

"Ruby? What's wrong?" Yang said standing next to my bed 

"I just, I just, this dream, well, more of  a nightmare" 

"What was it about?" 

"It was, so real looking, we were all there, and I saw the school the city, everything, it was all destroyed" 

"Well, that's a very interesting Ms. Rose" we all looked over and saw Professor Ozpin standing in our doorway 

"Professor? What are yo-" and he cut Weiss off by raising his hand 

"Ruby, I want you to come with me, but, get dressed first, the three of you get ready for class" he said and we all nodded. I got my usual clothes on and I followed Ozpin out of my room 

"Ruby, would you like to know what you saw?" he said and toke a sip from his cup 

"Was it not just a nightmare?" 

"No, Ruby, what you saw, was the future" 

"Future?" 

"Yes, that was a vision of what is to come, from your description of what you saw, it seems like were all in grave danger" he said and we got into the elevator to go to the top of the tower 

"There's some people who would like to hear what you have to say" and the door opened and Ironwood, prof. Goodwitch, my uncle Qrow, and the three maidens all standing there 

"Ruby, tell them what you saw" Ozpin said and they all looked at me 

"Well, I saw what looked like Beacon and Vale, and the entire place was burning, and there were these two large shapes, they didn't have any shape, or color, but one was in the city and it let out this mist that engulfed a bunch of people and the second one landed right next to me and it was about to eat me, but then a flash of bright light and I woke up" 

"Anything else you'd like to add Ms. Rose?" Ozpin said looking at me 

"Yeah, the only thing that was characteristic about the second one was it had these bright, soulless silver eyes" 

"That's plenty Ms. Rose, you may go back to your team and classes now" Ozpin said and I left the room.

3rd POV

"It's just as I feared" Qrow said looking out the window 

"It seems that everything is going as it was written" the winter maiden said while the other two nodded 

"We must find a way for this future to not happen or somehow make it better for the people" Ironwood said looking at the group 

"I agree, but let's not include military force" Goodwitch said crossing her arms 

"Well, what ever we do, we must not allow what has been foretold to come true" Ozpin said standing up from his chair 

"How do you propose we do that?" Qrow said and everyone looked at Ozpin 

"We don't do anything yet, we simply watch, and wait, and when the time is right, that's when we make our move" and everyone nodded 

"I hope that's right then" the spring maiden said and they all left except Qrow 

"Ozpin, does he even know?" 

"Most likely he does, but he has given no obvious sign he is going to do what she told us about"

(Y/n) POV

I was walking around and everyone was still excited about the maidens arriving and I was sitting on a bench watching the clouds roll by. I let out a small sigh of boredom and I noticed some one walking towards me 

"Hey Lisa" I said looking at her 

"What are you doing out here?" she said looking down at me 

"Laying down, is that  crime?" and she rolled her eyes and sat down next to me 

"Mind telling me what happened to Nova?" and I chuckled 

"It's rather simple, she got a new form, like I did" and Lisa then got up "Shouldn't you be with you boyfriend right now?" I said and grew a wide smile 

"How do you know about that?" she said while blushing 

"I'm not as oblivious as you guys give me credit for, besides" and I stood up 

"I can still see the marks on your neck" and I walked away leaving a blushing and stuttering Lisa frantically trying to cover up her neck with her jacket. I lightly laughed to myself at her and she eventually stomped away with her face still bright red. I started to walk around the city or, what's left of it and eventually I felt someone tap my shoulder. I looked back and saw someone standing behind me 

"Hello" she said while waving a little bit 

"Hi, who are you?" "I am the summer maiden" and I noticed that she had more of a out doors outfit, and had a crown made of flowers on her head 

"Oh, okay then" I said and she smiled at me 

"What's your name?" 

"It's (Y/n)" and she laughed a little bit 

"I know what you really are (Y/n), no need for secrets" 

"Okay then, it's really (D/n)" and she held out her hand 

"It's a pleasure to meet you then (D/n)" and I shook her hand 

"Pleasure to meet you to Ms. maiden" and her scroll then beeped 

"Oh dear, well, I must be going now, it was nice meeting you" and she started to walk away 

"Same" and while she was walking away I thought 'What an interesting woman'
