(Y/n) POV

"What's with the new look? White hair not working for you anymore, or the yellow eyes?" Yang said and I ran my hand through my hair and said 

"I got this from a demon I just killed" 

"A demon?!" my sister said getting in my face 

"Yeah, a demon, and his demon friend too, both have been killed" I said and she sat back down 

"that still doesn't explain your hair and eye color changing" Lisa said looking into my now bright red eyes 

"Well, like last time I got a new form, my human form changed" 

"A new form?" Lisa asked sitting straight up 

"Yeah, check it" I said and transformed into my new dragon form (in case you forgot, it looks like red eyes b dragon) 

"that is co cool" Amagi said and I picked her up and put her on my head 

"I know right, maybe I can finally take you on, big sis" and she smirked 

"Maybe" and I put her down 

"I have to go do a thing, I'll be back later" I said and flew off back to where I fought the demons. I went up to what was left of the two, not that there was much left of the second one, and said 

"Let's get started"

Nova POV

 I was at the apartment me and Lisa rented and I was taking a shower. I was letting the hot water run down my body while thinking 'I wonder what (Y/n) had to go do?' and I turned off the water and got out. I wrapped the towel around myself and put one around my hair, I would just use my fire to dry myself but that might be bad. I sighed and walked out to go get my sleeping clothes 

"Hey Nova, can I ask you something?" Lisa said from her room 

"Yeah. what is it?" 

"I've noticed that you've been acting strange lately, especially around (Y/n), what's up?" and I blushed a little bit 

"Well, me and him have kind of-" and she cut me off by looking at the back of my neck 

"You guys mated?" and I blushed more 

"Yes, we did" and she sat back down next to me 

"Well, why isn't he here right now?" 

"What?" 

"Why isn't he here right now, I mean, our kind mate for life and the pair must stay loyal to their partner and their partner alone, and he isn't here right now" and I paused 

"Are you saying he's going to leave me?" 

"Well, he does hang out with RWBY more than you so, I'm just saying, you should look into that" and I stood up quickly and ran to go get dressed. I put on a simple hoodie and pants with random shoes. I ran out the door towards Beacon, some people gave me weird looks and I shot a glare back at them making them look away. I got to the dormitory RWBY were in and I managed to sneak up the side and get up to their window. I looked in and saw (Y/n) laying on the floor and RWBY were all in their beds, I let out a breath of relief and I then saw Yang start to move around. She went down to where (Y/n) was sleeping and she laid down next to him. I felt the wood near me start to burn from that 'bimbo' I thought looking at her. (Y/n) didn't even move, but he did fight two demons today so he was very tired. I then felt my self glare at Yang as she snuggled closer to my mate and I thought 'Stupid bitch' and I jumped down to the ground. I walked back to my apartment and I rounded a corner and ran into someone 

"Ow" I said rubbing my head 

"Oh, sorry about that" a voice said and I opened my eyes and saw a guy that had brown hair, and hazel eyes, wearing a red hoodie and black pants 

"thanks" I said and he pulled me up 

"You were going kind of fast, anything wrong?" he asked not letting go of my hand 

"No, nothing wrong" I said and started to walk away 

"Your lying" he said catching up to me 

"No I'm not, and please leave me alone" and I started to speed up 

"Come on, tell me what's wrong?" 

"why won't you leave me alone?" I said stopping 

"Hey, I can't leave a pretty girl alone when she's sad now can I" and he grew a smirk while I blushed a little bit 

"See, there we go" he said and he put his hand under my chin 

"I mean it, your absolutely beautiful" and he started to lean in closer. I was about to back up until something came at him and hit him right in the face, I looked to where it came from and it was (Y/n), who had apparently punched him in the face 

"Listen here ass hat, next time you try to pull a fast one on my girl, I may not be as nice next time" and the guy then got up and said 

"The hell's your problem, I was trying to help her" and (Y/n) glared at him 

"Your lying to me" and (Y/)'s right hand was now engulfed in (f/c) flames and the guy said 

"Get away from me, you two are freaks" and he ran away. (Y/n) wrapped his arm around my shoulders and we walked back to the apartment and when we got back he said 

"Nova, what were you doing?" and I froze and said 

"Oh you know, just walking around, hah hah" I said lying and he sighed 

"Nova, your not very good at lying" and he then picked me up bridal style and we went up to my room. He laid me on his bed and he laid down next to me. I snuggled closer to him and he said 

"You know, if you really wanted to sleep with me, all you had to do was ask" and we both fell asleep a few moments later.
