We stayed like that, for a while. He lifted up his head to look at me. His eyes were very red and swollen. His face was all blotchy and red. It was hard to look at him this way. To think we were barely involved and now look at where we were. Wrapped around each other.

"I love you too." He whispered like his throat hurt. I felt so bad. He felt so bad. I sat up and looked at him. He sat up and picked got himself together. He still looked so hurt, as if he was suffering my pain.

"Let's go somewhere. You and I." He spoke loud and proud as if nothing had ever happened. I stared in shock. "I'll pay." He said reassuringly. I smiled and he smiled.

"Let's go. Help me into my chair." I began to hop wiggle my way into the chair when Tim lifted me into the chair.

I sat in my chair feeling hopeless and useless as Tim pushed me down the stairs. I couldn't even imagine the anguish he must of felt. I was hurting him, but he felt no pain.

"So, where shall we go?" He looked at me with those crystal eyes.

"I don't know. Jackie's? Pizza Piazza? Jack in the box?" I looked at the floor of his gorgeous castle of a house.

"Let's go to Mono Benet." My jaw dropped. Mono Benet is the most fancy most expensive restaurant in Fanner. Tim Peters is taking me to Mono Benet. Wow, what a week.

It felt like forever before we finally reached the restaurant. It was beautiful on the outside with Christmas lights that lit up the world it seemed. An aroma filled the room as we walked in. In my case, wheeled in. It was a cute little lobby that we sat in before the line decreased.

"We have reservations for 6:30. Two people under the name Peters." He had made reservations? Wow I missed a lot.

"Right this way." The lady was short and stout with blond hair and too much make up on. Her face was truly beautiful yet it was hidden.

We reached our table and sat down. The table was perfect for two. I loved it.

"Hello. My name is Julie, I will be serving you today. Do we want to start with drinks?" The short lady disappeared and was replaced by a tall woman with black hair.

"I'll have a root beer. What would you like Tori?" He talked so professionally.

"I would like the same please." I spoke with confidence even though inside I was burning in the fire of shame. I wasn't prepared. I wasn't raised in this fancy style. I didn't fit in.

"I'll be right back with your drinks." And the lady disappeared into the crowd.
