"Oh, hey." Scarlett said as she walked into the nearly abandoned house.

"Hey." Zielly said. She was sitting down on the dusty floor, drawing pictures in the dust.

Scarlett sat down beside her, their black and brown hair brushing together. They were twins. They both had a mix of milk chocolate and caramel colored skin. Beautiful long black hair. Zielly had golden brown streaks while Scarlett's hair changed to the color brown towards her ends. Both had very long hair. They also had strange eyes. One eye would be green, a normal color, but the other would be hazel. What was strange was that their hazel eye contained all of the colors you know. Including gold.

As they sat there, they thought. Both were thinking the exact same thing. How do we get out? They had been bored to death with scavenging for everything they need. They needed a change.

"Z-Zielly..." Scarlett whispered. She heard sobbing noises.

"Zielly?"

She was crying.

Her puddles of tears ruined the picture she made in the dust. They stained her rags for clothing an ran down the strands of her hair.

"Let's go..." Scarlett said in a low voice. Zielly knew what she was talking about.

"Go where? You said they don't exist. You called me crazy." She continued sobbing, pulling her knees to get chest.

Scarlett didn't really believe in the creepypastas. Whenever her sister talked about them, she'd immediately turn it down. But, now, they had nowhere else to go. Going there was their only chance.

"Let's go, Zielly. If they exist, I'm sure they'll take in weirdos like us."

Zielly looked up at Scarlett. Hope filled her colorful eyes. The tears stopped coming as a smile spread across her face.

"Thank you, Scarlett."

"You're welcome, Zielly."

Zielly stood up and started towards the door. "It just might happen..." Zielly thought. She beckoned for her sister and walked into the woods, Scarlett close behind.

They walked for hours. Zielly was near fainting as she walked and walked. Scarlett's mouth was dry, and her feet in pain. She wondered if Zielly was tired. She seemed to stumble every now and then, but she kept on going. "She must really want to get there..." Scarlett thought. For a second, she wished she had the same will her sister did. But, then, she remembered. She has her own. As long as her twin wanted to go, she'd go as well.

Thanks, Zielly.

They finally came across a clearing, wide open with lots of trees surrounding it. Zielly fell face first into the grass, it's soft leaves caressing her cheeks.

"Guh! *pants* Wow, some walk, eh?" She asked her sister.
Scarlett collapsed next to her sister.

"Oh yeah,"she pants, out of breath,"That was some walk."
They continued to lay there until they both heard a sound that echoed around them...

...Static...

Zielly sat up swiftly, looking around. She was almost like a cat, so light on her feet. Scarlett was exactly the same. They were twins, weren't they?

There it was again. It crackled. Hearing it in a forest which was filled with nature was unnerving.

"Wait here, Zielly." Scarlett said. She got up in a flash, but a hand grabbed her arm, preventing her from going any further.

"No. We're twins. I lose you, I lose half of me. You're not going alone. Wherever you go, I'm right there."

Zielly's grip was strong, she was not about to let Scarlett go. Scarlett desperately tried to wriggle free, but to no avail. Zielly was not ever going to let go of her.

There it was again. But this time, they heard a raspy voice inside the static. It was breathing heavily, scaring the two of them. They clung tightly to one another, hoping to find warmth within the other.

Scarlett felt something wrap around her leg.

"AAAAAAHHHHH!!!" She screamed, trying to jump away from whatever it was that was around her leg. But she ended up being carried into the air, reaching out for her sister.

"SCARLETT!!" Zielly yelled, being swung into the air as well.

They were both hung upside down, blood rushing to their heads.

As Scarlett lost consciousness, these were her thoughts:
"Zielly, stay safe..."

As Zielly lost consciousness, these were her thoughts:
"I don't want to lose my other half..."

I'm the shadows, a white man with no face snickered.

"I found you..."
