After the big blow Nepal faced due to the Earthquake, our team "MRR" was busy with relief programs reaching out to the helpless people and assisting them with everything we could . I was already in Nepal to do my part after i decided not to stay in Australia, at least for a while.
This is Lamatole, small village from Sindhupalchowk which was affected terribly during the quake. Our MRR team was first to reach that village with relief goods. So, we started counting the number of people in that village and divide the foods and relief materials we had which includes basic stuffs like Rice, vegetable oil, tents, mosquito nets and etc which would help them getting along with life until next help comes. We were doing the final distribution when we came up with this situation. Bikram ( on left ) and I were having a chat on next place to go when we heard this old lady crying and later when we did a small research, we found that she recently lost her husband, three kids and house in single night. Now put yourself in that situation ? We didn't react much at that time as everyone were going through similar conditions. But remembering it still give me chills sometimes. After we found that she is by herself, we managed to provide a new set of everything we had which would help her for a while. we gave her this 50 rupees slipper and received 5 million dollar smile in return. Good deal, isn't it ?
Now giving a small information about MRR.Mens Room Reloaded, its a non profit social group of crazy amazing boys who are always up for good things in society. Group is all about helping each other in times, brotherhood and working for the country. I feel privileged to be part of this group.
