Chapter Seventeen

Seventeen AM

"Kuya Jade?" Oh sht. This would be a mess.

"What do you think you're doing here, Chandria!" Oh geez! He's my cousin, the very strict one.

"Uhmm. Nothing? Ek and chill?" Lalo naman nagdilim ang titig n'ya sakin.

"Chandria?" I saw Padilla carrying an human size bear and flowers. Oh noes! Not again.

"Kuya Jade, why did you cover my eyes?" I said.

"Because I want to know who's that Padilla." Oh sht. I just shouted Padilla awhile ago.

Pumunta naman sa likod ko si Padilla. Oh no! Not again. "Who are you?" He grabbed my hand.

"Is this your boyfriend Chandria?" Kuya Jade is so scary. He's inspecting my eyes like I am hiding something.

"Yes. I am his." Nanlaki ang mata ko at kinuha ang kamay ko kay Padilla.

"No, kuya Jade he's just my friend." And I saw Padilla's face frowned.

"Explain this to me Chandria or else I'll call your brother." This can't be. Baka matuluyan na ang pag alis ko papuntang Europe.

"Kuya Jade listen." I grab his hand and pumunta sa isang sulok.

"He's just my suitor?" I'm confused.

"Then why are you here? This is a lot far from Manila and nakakarating kayo dito?" He's really mad as hell.

"Kuya, we're just chilling." I bit my lower lip.

"You're reason is not valid. I'll go and you need to see me after this day." And he walked away.

Maya maya naramdaman ko naman ang kamay ni Padilla sa bewang ko.

"Princess, flowers and bear for you." Kinuha ko naman 'to at agad napaupo sa bench na malapit saamin.

"Who's that guy?" And umupo narin s'ya sa tabi ko.

"My cousin. I'm in bad luck now.. He's probably going to tell this to my brother. They are all strict and protective. They doesn't want this and relationship stuff." I place my hands onto my face.

"Don't worry princess I'll face them with no fears at all." He said and embrace me.

I don't know. It's like I'm having again the butterflies in my stomach. Is this really real? I just hate this.

"Do you wanna go home?" I don't wanna go home. I just want here to chill and stuff. I just Want to unwind.

"I don't wanna." But it's getting too late.

"Okay, one last ride and I'll drive you home." He held his hand into mine and started walking.

We're going to ferris wheel. This really incredible the lightings, the laughs of the people, the feeling with someone you didn't expect to be with.

As we ride the ferris wheel, it's like having an drum-like sensation in my heart. It was beating so fast when Padilla's laughing at me because I'm lil bit scared of heights.

"Chandria, you should smile always." He said when we're going to his car.

"Is it a must?" And I chuckled.

"Even though you smile frequently, you're still the gorgeous woman that I met." I just shrugged and he opened the door for me.

"Thank you." And he flashed a smile.

While Padilla is driving, I just listening to the music. "Hey? Are you alright?" He said.

"Of course, I am."  I said.

"Are you hungry?" Am I? I don't think so.

"I am not. You?" He chuckled. Ano problema nito.

"I'm not. How's our first date?" I blushed. So this is a date?

"It was really fun and now I know how corny you are." And I rolled my eyes.

"Where's momoe?" So who's momoe?

"What?" I said in confusion.

"The big blue bear." Oh! So momoe name n'ya.

"So that's the name? Parang multo naman kasi mumu." And I laughed.

"And that's how corny you are. Do you really have your sense of humor?" I rolled my eyes. Ang corny ah! Talaga maman ang corny n'ya eh.

"Shut up." And he laughed.

"Hey, Just kidding." He smiled.

I didn't talk and just focus to the road. "What you are thinking? Is that about your kuya Jade?" He's lil bit right. I was wondering kung ano ginagawa dun ni kuya Jade.

"Uhuh. Welcome to my strict family." I'm not complaining for having a strict family. I'm thankful parin kasi they raised me too well.

"It's okay, I can accept. Tomorrow morning we'll go to them and I'll be asking their permission to court you legally." I smiled. All this time naging Man-hater ako and I'll end up din parin sa ganto. Suitors? I never have been like giving me a flowers or what, because I don't want to.

Lumaki ako na si ang kinakausap ko lang na lalaki is si Kuya, Dad, Quen, and boy na relatives. I don't have a guts to talk to stranger na boy. I just traumatized and I don't know now because I met this badboy.
