The darkness was always something you were afraid of, always trying to run to the light. But at night; there was nowhere to run. You sat alone crying into your knees as you rocked back and forth sobbing until you believed you could cry no longer. Heart rate quickening until it began to hurt. A curtled cry left your throat when you heard something in the corner topple over with a loud 'thud'.
You covered your ears, squezzing your eyes shut and repeatedly whispered to yourself, "I'm safe, I'm safe". Suddenly you felt two hand placed upon your slim shoulder causing you to scream as you thrashed your arms around. "(Y/N), calm down! It's just me..." A familiar voice filled your ears causing you slowly to open your eyes. Heart pounding loudly against your rib cage as you stared at the Undertakers worried face. "Y-You scared me!" You cried out in a series of sobs. Undertaker wrapped his arms around you in a warm embraced, his hands delving into your hair while he stroked the locks gently. "...What did you think I was?..." He asked in a soft voice and curious tone. You looked up at him, sniffling. "W-Well... ever since I was a child, I have been seeing a monster... like a shadow... like a darkness..." you whimpered. Undertaker sighed as he stroked your cheeks with a reassuring smile. "I'm sure it just your imagination..." He assured. You wiped your eyes with the back of your hand. "Y-You think so?" You questioned. He gave a small nod. You returned the gesture with a weak smile. The Undertaker was always right. He wouldn't ever lie to you. You wrapped your arms around his neck in a hug as he pressed a soft and sweet kiss to your lips. You couldn't help but smile sincerely at this, immediately melting into his hold and kissing back. Your hands combed through his hair while you fluttered your eyes closed, your heart race slowing to just a quick beat. He slowly pulled away and kissed your forehead. "I'll see you tommorow... okay?" He questioned and you gave a nod. "Of course!" He smiled. "Now, forget that silly shadow, love..." And with that... He was gone.

The Undertaker sat on an old coffin, picking at his nail boredly. He hadn't been able to find you today at all. He wasn't worried though not until Ciel Phantomhive and his butler walked in. He grinned. "Why, hello young Phantomhive." He said as he stood up. "This is no time to joke around Undertaker!" The child growled, but his eyes held sympathy. "...What is it?" The Undertaker asked immediately in curiosity. Ciel walked over, "A girl was found dead this morning, in the old alley way... leading to your shop..." Ciel answered. "(H/L)(H/C) hair... (e/c) eyes... she was torn to shreds..." he continued.
The Undertaker froze up, staring at the boy as if he wasn't even there. "W-What?" Ciel held a hand up to shut him up. "She has been identified as (Y/N)(L/N)... A witness reports seeing a dark shadow following her about 6 a.m. this morning... When we got to the scene, there was a passage written on the wall... In blood." The Undertaker gritted his teeth. "W-What did it say?" He choked out as he fought back his anger and sadness. "...You were wrong."
