Chapter 10 - Tomorrows Aren't Always Joyful

Shay's POV

Waking up next to Nate was something I wouldn't get tired of. I've always loved waking up next to him. As I woke up, I felt our connection and a smile came on my face when I felt the strong connection between us. 

I hugged Nate tighter to me and I heard him lowly chuckle, hugging me back, "Good morning." His voice was husky and it was really sexy. "I think you have a sexy morning voice too." He laughed. 

I flushed red, "I didn't even speak." I muttered. 

"Well, now you did." He smiled against my head as he kissed the crown of my head. 

I giggled and sat up covering myself with the blanket and looked down at him, "I want to go shower now." I pouted. 

He sat up next to me, smiling as he peck my lips, "Come on." 

I put my hands on his chest to stop him, "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Who said you're coming in with me?" 

He pouted at me, "Aww.. Come on, babe." 

"No." I said firmly. 

"Please?" 

I sighed, "Fine, you know I could never resist you." I muttered, standing up. I huffed as we walked in the bathroom, "When are we going to have to check out?" I asked, changing the subject. 

"Later at lunch, we should eat downstairs before we go." He said, taking the blanket off of me as he carefully helped me in the bathtub.

When me and Nate came home by 1 in the afternoon, the guys quickly threw us sexual comments. 

Some made me blush, and some made Nate laugh with them. He's too unique, huh? 

Now, me and Cass were changing into our training clothes, we let the pack members of West pack to train them at noon, but tomorrow we'd train early as in 5 in the morning. 

I wore a hot pink training bra that reached just before my waist, a training shorts and my converse. I put hair up in a tight bun so it wouldn't be loose when we run. 

 Me and Cass quickly made our way to the pack house at the backyard and whistled loudly, signalling that it's training time. As minutes passed, slowly people piled in as I shouted in my Luna voice, "Everybody position now!"

Everybody scurried, and Cass wasn't affected by it knowing that she's my best friend, I taught her how to be not affected by that voice. I hate it, but I had to use it, like now.. 

"Isn't that Shay and Cassidy?" I heard a whisper from the very back. I could hear everyone whispering so I blew the whistle.

"Quiet down!" Cassidy yelled. 

Everyone quieted down, "Now, I want you all to do push ups, and I want it 50!" I ordered they just stared at us, "NOW!" 

They all did what was asked except one.. Lindsey. She scoffed, "Well, look who's back? The weak little Shay and her stupid friend." 

Cass glared at her, "Well, looks who's getting trained by, 'her weak little sister'?" She mocked putting air quotes. 

Lindsey glared at her, "Shut up." She turned to me, "Who are you to train us? You're not even strong." 

Everyone stopped doing their push ups as Cass glared at them, "100!" They quickly got back doing push ups again. 

I turned to look at Lindsey, "I'm stronger than you think, big sister. Now, don't even think twice on listening to me. Either you do my command and push up or you'll face consequences."
