Shay's Point of View
It wasn't easy for someone to see the love of your life fighting for his life. It was heartbreaking, I have never expected to see him lying in his room with wires connected on his body.
We weren't able to call the hospital because they would be suspicious about the marks or how he got the wounds.
I remember holding his limp hand while looking at his pale face. I thought he was dead, but he made it. He was strong. He's the strongest person I've ever known.
I reminisced kissing his chapped and cold lips, begging him to wake up because we miss him. He was my life, if he died that day, I don't know what will happen to me.
I remember crying because it's been a month and he still hasn't woken up. My heart slowly breaking at the sight of his life slowly drifting away. I thought he'll never wake up, I thought he left me, I thought I wouldn't be able to see him ever again.
Lastly, I remember seeing his hazel eyes gazing into mines. His smile so bright even though he just woke up. I've never been so happy in my whole life. I was ecstatic, my love woke up.
Now here I am, walking down the aisle, smiling and looking into my true love's eyes. He was the one. He's mine and I'm his.
I love you.
Forever and always.
