Shay's POV

I gotta admit as week passed everything went smoothly.. But it also felt strange as I felt that I was being watched the pass week.

I shrugged off that feeling and went to the pack house to check if everyone's training. And indeed they are. 

It was a big relief that Lindsey left me alone the past week. Because I'm really tired and all by training them.

Today's Tuesday and we let the other members of our pack to train them. Considering that, the guys have meeting again and Cassidy was sick, Conan's taking care of her. I know..

And I'm bored.


Mystery Guy #2 POV

"Are you serious? Do you really think I'd do that?!" I yelled at him over the phone.

"Don't you want her back?" He asked in a taunting voice.

I scoffed, "I want her back. But, if she's happy with him. Then be it. I can have my own second chance."

I can literally feel his smirk over the phone as he spoke, "You're not special.. So, you won't be having second chance."

"Then, I'll live by myself." I gritted. This man is really annoying me right now.

"You know you can't, kid. Or else you'd lose your wolf. Wouldn't want that now would we? Considering, you're an Alpha."

It's true, I can't lose my wolf. But that doesn't mean I'm going to do this.

'Just consider it! I want my mate back!' My wolf yelled.

"Okay," My wolf yelled over the phone and I slammed it down.

'You just got us in a big trouble!' I shouted.


Darren's POV

I held a breath and blew it out again.

This is it.

I walked over to her, "Shay?"

She turned around her smiled fading, "What do you want now, Darren?" Her voice was grim as she spoke.

I winced, "Uh.. I just wanted to.. Ask you if you would.. ahh.. Want to hang out?" I stuttered.

"No." Her blunt response.

I bit my lip and sighed. This is going to be harder than I thought. "Wait," I said before she walked away and she paused looking at me, "I-I'm sorry.. For the things I've done the past year." I looked down, "Shay.. I'm sorry. I never did it intentionally. I'm sorry, that I have to break you and let you run away before I even realize what I did wrong."

"I'm sorry, please just give me a second chance.. Even if it's just as friend. Just let me do it right." I pleaded.

She looked like deep in thought before her face softens, "Okay.. I-I forgive you.. But we'll be just friends, Darren. I love Nate, and that's never going to change."

Even though our bond broke. True mate are still strong and I can still feel something for her. That's why I felt a pang in my heart when she said that. Instead of saying anything, I nodded. "Okay.."

She smiled and hugged me but pulled away quickly. "Oh, Shay?"

"Hmm?"

"Please, go to Jay. He's-He's been hard since you've been gone." (No pun intended xD)

She exhaled a breath and nodded, "Where is he?"

I smiled, "In his room, with his mate."

She looked confused but she nodded anyways.


Shay's POV

I still know where Jace's room. You might be confused on why Darren called him Jay. It's just a nickname.

But, Jace has a mate.. That lit up my insides. That's also what I heard from my son the other day. He called her aunt Jennilane.

I reached his door and held my fist up, knocking on it gently.

"Come in!" His voice call out.

I twisted the knob and walked in, there my brother watching TV with his mate cuddled next to him.

I cleared my throat, he looked up and his eyes widened in shock, "Shay?"

I bit my lip, smiling hesitantly and waved awkwardly, "Uh.. Hi."

He blinked. Once. Twice. And before I know it he was already hugging me, "I'm sorry." He muttered over and over again.

A growl made us pull away as his mate lunge at me, but Jace was quick to stop her, "Babe, wait calm down." He coo'd.

His mate, Jennilane, glared at me, "Who are you?! Why are you hugging my mate!"

I raised my eyebrow and crossed my arms, "I'm her sister."

Jennilane calmed down as soon as I said sister. She bit her lip and looked down, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to lunge at you."

I smiled warmly at her, "It's fine.."

She looked between us awkwardly before moving, "Uh.. I'll go get some food in the kitchen." She said as she walks backward pointing at the door before she bump into it.

I stifled a giggle, "You okay there?"

She stood up straight smiling slightly, "Yeah! Of course, I am." And she rushed off closing the door behind her.

I shook my head, amused at Jace's mate, "I like her." I commented.

I looked at him to see why he didn't say anything and he was staring at me with a regretful look, hugging me once again, "I'm sorry!" He exclaimed. "I'm sorry that I hurt you.. I'm sorry that I said things that I wasn't suppose to say to my sister.. I'm sorry, please give me a chance to change." He pleaded.

I giggled on his chest hugging him back, "You're lucky I believe in second chances!"

"Oh, Shay!" He exclaimed hugging me tighter.

As hours passed me and Jace catches up to everything, I told him how I was special, that Nate's my second chance mate, how I adopted Conan. And everything. He kept saying sorry, but I interrupt him every time with a hug.

It was almost dinner when I came back to the cabin.

"Where have you been?" A pair of arms wrapped around my waist.

I grinned turning my face to peck his lips, "I talked to Jace."

Nate looked at me interested, "What happened?"

I smiled widely, "Were good!"

He kissed the tip of my nose, "That's good to hear."

I nodded, "Also, me and Darren are good now." I muttered.

He tightened his arms around me, "What?"

"Me and Darren are good now too."

He sighed, "As friends only right? You won't leave me for him right?"

I smiled at him, "Why would I? I mean, I love you so so so much! That I could never leave you for another guy."

He grinned kissing my lips as he picked me up.


Mystery Guy #2 POV

Yeah right. Let's see if you won't leave him for another guy.

I'll prove you wrong.

Things are getting real. Who's Mystery Guy #2?? Guess!

Lol. Anyways, I'm sick that's why I didn't go to school today.

And I'm tired.. So, sorry but no sharing tome today.. I'm so very tired. :3
