The Final Showdown(A Miraculous Ladybug Fanfiction)

9/ Injured

Marinettes POV 

Once I saved everyone(too lazy for details), I pulled out my yoyo and turned on the tracking device. Chat was supposed to be back by now. I know him, he wouldn't worry me like this.

Once the GPS turned on, it pointed my west. I ran on that direction, and then made a left. My GPS beeped, signaling I was close to  my destination.

      Wait, that can't be right.

I gapped as the Agreste mansion loomed over me. A larger than life window could be seen on the second floor that I haven't noticed before. They are rich after all, I guess if they wanted another window it wouldn't be a problem. 

I dashed inside and followed the GPS upstairs and made a right to come in front of a door. The beeping grew louder and louder. Chat was in there. I closed my yoyo and cautiously opened the door. I paid no intention to the photos of me and Chat, those weren't important. Apparently, he wasn't in here. 

Just as I gave up, I saw a door. Jackpot. I took a deep breath and kicked the door open. The large room was empty and the only things inside the room were............... butterflies.

              Oh,no.

I realized my mistake and turned around as the door shut zero making me curse to myself. 

"Wish. Even more company, I'm really popular these days!" A sarcastic voice called from somewhere behind me. Turning, I saw a tall man in a purple suit with a full mask. He had piercing blue eyes that I swear ive seen somewhere. But one thing was apparent.

I didn't like him one bit.

He snapped his fingers and Chat Noir was pushed out of the shadows, barely conscious. I gasped at the state he was in, and had to stop the years that threatened to form. His left eye was swollen, and he has a long, thin gash on hos cheek. He was clutching his arm were some blood was seeping through, and he looked like he couldn't move one of his legs. He rocked from side to side and he tried to scream out in pain.

I rushed forward but stopped as Hawkmoth cooed at me, "I don't think so. Now if I were you, I wouldn't move any closer, unless you want him to lose that leg."

How could someone be so evil. I stopped and clenched my fist, what can I do? 

"What do you want?" I snapped. Hawkmoth gave me an amused smirk, like that was the dumbest question I could ask.

"I think we all know what I want." I hand went to my earrings instinctively. I would never give them to him, but if it was too save Chat............ No, I can't.

"No."

"Oh, really? I was really hoping we could do things the easy way." He sighed as he brought his staff down as he could on Chats right leg. Chat yelped in pain as he did it again. I sunk to the ground, I need a plan. A good plan. I had to stop myself from crying as I saw the pain he was in. 

"Fine!" I choked, as I began snatchinf the earrings out of my ear.

"No, M'lady!" Chat barely yelled.

My transformation wore off, and I  saw Chat gasp.

"Who knew it was the Dupan-Cheng girl?" Hawkmoth laughed, and I rolled my eyes.

"Marinette......." Chat whispered before passing out. 

In any other situation, I would've laughed.

"Give me the Chat," I ordered seriously, "And I'll give you the earrings."

Hawkmoth smirked, that smirk is really starting to bother me.

"I don't think so," he replied, "The earrings."

I shook my head and he sighed. He kicked That's limp body towards me and I picked him up. He's safe.

"Now," Hawkmoth smiled, but I could tell he was getting angry, "Your earrings."

 Now it's my turn. I smirked as I put the earrings back in and immediately yelle, "Tikki, transform me!" before Hawkmoth could see her. "I dont think so," I Hawk-mocked.(No? Okay)

Hawkmoth's once cool demeanor faded as he face turned into one of rage. "You'll pay for that,"

 And he snapped his fingers.

So how's that for not updating in a while. There was testing a, yeah you get my drift. I haven't edited yet, so excuse any mistakes. I think you guys will really like the next few chapters though. Also, soon I'll be updating a new ML fix on wattpsd, so ensure to check it out.
