I pray Leah never finds out what me and cam did. We killed Nash. Cameron and I did something to his car.

I sat on the tour bus early that morning. We have one more hour and then we're in Los Anglos, California. Everyone is talking about Nash. I glance at Cameron. He's faking a smile and making small talk. I should have never asked him to help. Nash was his best friend. My phone buzzed.

Leah Rose🌹- hey! How's it going?

Jack J- I'm still on the bus. We have one more hour.

Leah Rose🌹- 😂. Ha ha ha.

Jack J- your annoying. Are you seriously not coming out?

Leah Rose🌹- idk. It depends on my schedule.

Jack J- alight see ya later.

Leah Rose🌹- good bye

Dear lord please help me...

-Leah Rose-
I have to be at the college today. Tomorrow is Nash's funeral.

"Taylor! Can we go to Starbucks?" I asked as we walked on to campus. "We can't be late on the first day! We want a good first impression!" Taylor saids pulling me along. I roll my eyes and trudged after her. I noticed some girls looking at me. They pointed and shook their heads. Great my first day at college and I'm already being made fun of. "I can't believe she's even still making it! She was in love with him!" I heard one girl whisper. "If my boyfriend died I would die with him!" The other added.

Oh. Their sorry for me. I entered Taylor and mines first class room. "We have this class, lunch, and last period together," Taylor tells me. I smile and looked at our schedule. "We have to get up at 7:45!" I whine. Taylor rolled her eyes. "Grow up. It's life," Taylor said leaving the room. I followed her and didn't say anything else. She was on her edge already.

When we left campus, I decided to go for a jog. I changed into grey yoga pants, a black sports bra, and black nikes. I pulled my dark brown hair into a high ponytail. I plugged in my head phones, grab a water bottle, and left. I was two blocks away when my phone started to buzz.

*phone convo*
Leah: hey cam how's it going.

Cameron: I can't do this

Leah: what'd you mean?

Cameron: I killed Nash. I did something to his break. Then his accelerator. I did it

Leah: ... what

Cameron: *crying* please forgive me

Leah: Cameron. Why he's your best friend?

Cameron: I don't know. Please,

Leah: I forgive you. Does anyone else know?

Cameron: no. Just you

Leah: okay well I gotta go

Cameron: bye
*phone convo over*

I stood there confused. How could Cameron, Nash's best friend, kill him? It doesn't add up. I turned my music back on and jogged home. I need a bath and time to think this through

That night I couldn't  shake off what Cam said. Him confessing kept going through my head. I closed my eyes. Try sleeping.

We all know that never works.

-Jack Johnson-
"Cameron! Why!" I yelled at him. He hung his head. "The guilt was killing me. I didn't say your name just mine," he tells me. I run my hand through my hair and pace. "So she knows what happen?" I asked. "Yes but she doesn't know it was your plan. I just told her I did it all," he once again tells me. "Why?" I asked him. "You like her and I don't want her to hate you," Cameron explained. I nodded and looked away.
