Chapter Forty-Two

-Kendall Page-
Leah and Sam were still asleep. I woke up with major head ache. I took Advil are few moments ago but it's still pounding.

I checked my phone and saw I had two missed calls. Jack Gilinsky

I ,of course, called him back.

*phone convo*

Kendall- hey, you called

Gilinsky- yeah. I just wanted to talk

Kendall- oh okay.

Gilinsky- so Jack and I are coming up there today. Like we're at the airport. And Unh, I was wondering when I get there if you wanna hang out with me?

Kendall- what would we do?

Gilinsky- I don't know. I can take you to one of my favorite restaurants. Then we could see my old school.

I wasn't going to tell him Sam and Leah already showed me his old school.

Kendall- sounds great. What time are you getting here?

Gilinsky- the ticket thing saids 4:00

I looked at the clock. 12:30.

Kendall- okay. See ya then

Gilinsky- okay bye.
*end*

I smiled at my phone. I'm going on a date with Jack! I wish Leah would wake up faster.

-Leah Rose-
I woke up in Sam's arms. He was still asleep. I climb out of his grip and went downstairs. I felt dizzy and very weak. As I was pouring myself a cup of coffee, Kendall appeared downstairs with a pep in her step. "Guess what just happened!" She squealed. I smiled. "You got a boyfriend?" I ask. She looks shocked. "Very close. I got a date with Jack Gilinsky! He called and said were gonna go eat at his favorite restaurant!" She squealed again. I smiled even bigger.

"Oh my gosh! That's great!" I squeal with her. "I know, he's getting here at four. Can you help me get ready?" Kendall asked with pleading eyes. "Of course! First go shower. I'm gonna wake Sam and tell him I'm busy for a while. Meet in your room and 1:10," I say looking at her. She giggle at my orders then takes up stairs to go shower. I go upstairs to my room and see Sam sitting up in the room wide awake. He looked panicked. I giggled and skipped over to him. I crawled into his lap and hugged him. "I'm right here," I say pressing a kiss to his lips. He kisses me back. "Scared me," he tells me.

"I'm gonna be helping Kendall get ready for her date, so you'll have to entertain yourself until four," I tell Sam. He pouts at me. "Why? Can't she dress herself?" He asks kissing my collarbone. I run my fingers through his soft brown hair. "I'm sorry baby," I say. He stops kissing me and looks up at me with a frown. "That's all I have to say," I say giggling. Sam smiled and snakes his hands around my waist. He grabs my butt and pulls me into him. I squeal as he connects our lips. I pull away and get away from his grip. Sam gets up and I stare at his body. He catches me. "It's cute how you stare at me even though you've seen me naked," Sam saids winking at me. I blush and leave the room. I get into Kendall's room and she's in her bra and panties. "Okay, let's start picking out my outfit," she replies.

I shut the door and walk over to her closet. I look through the colorful clothes. "Go with this," I say picking out a white crop top. I then get out light walked denim overalls. She slips on the outfit. "For shoes..." I say trailing off. I go over a pick out white high heel ankle boots. "Sit," I say pointing at the bench. She sat as I plugged in her curling iron. "Okay we're gonna do a settle make up look, you know a warm eye," I say priming her face.

It's 4:15. "Okay, Jack should be here," Kendall saids looking at the ground. "He is " I say closing the blinds. "He just pulled up," I finish. "Now get up the stairs halfway and I'll do something when I'm about to open the door " I say pushing Kendall up the stairs. She gets halfway. I take a breath then point up. I open the door to reveal both jacks. "Is Kendall here? " Gilinsky ask. On cue Kendall appeared. "Ready?" She asked flipping her hair. I smiled. "Yeah, we have to drop Johnson off then we can go," he saids looking her up and down. He takes her hair and leads her out to the car. As Gilinsky walks around to his side, Kendall looks out her window and gives me a thumbs up. I give one back with a big smile.

I shut the door and head upstairs. "Sammy?" I call out. "In the bathroom," he calls out. I slowly walk up to the door. The doors open. "Come in," Sam saids seeing me in the mirror. I stare at him shock. "Oh ... My ... God," I state slowly. Sam dyed his hair platinum blonde! ( in the pic above ) "your hair," I finish. I go over to him and run my fingers through his hair. "Did you just do this?" I ask feeling my heart race. "Yeah, you like it sexy?" Sammy saids pulling me into him. I smile at the nickname. "It's looks different, but you still look very sexy ," I say biting his bottom lip. He smiles and leans into me. He kisses me and I pull him in deeper to me. He picks me up and carries me to the bed. "They're gonna be gone long right?" Sammy asks laying me down. "Yeah," I reply getting on top of him.

Jack and I went to his favorite pizza place. After that, he took me to his school and other places he used to hang out.

We were currently at the basketball court. I smiled remembering what happen here not to long ago. "I've had fun," I say laying my head a jacks shoulder. We're just sitting in the middle of the court. "Me too," he replies laying his hand on top of mind. I watch as he laces his fingers through mine. My heart leaps. I sit my head up and look at Jack. He's smiling. Jack looks at me and we stare at each other with smiles. "Do you wanna go back?" He asked me. "Sure, it's a little cold," I say trying not to show my disappointment.

Jack stands and helps me up. He's still holding my hand as we walk to the car. When I get in the car it's still cold. I wrap my arms around my chest. "It'll warm up, just give it a few," Jack saids noticing I've wrapped my arms around my chest. I nod and stop from clattering my teeth.
*
I'm not home yet.

"Jack where are we? We're not even close to home," I say looking at the weird places. Jack parks the car in front of a dimly lit trade store. I look around. Every thing is dull, but beautiful. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I hear Jack ask. I look at him. He's smiling sheepishly. I smile at his bluntness. "Yes," I say walking over to him. He smiles and picks me. "Good. I thought my asking was to aggressive," he tells me. I smile bigger. He sets me down and then kisses me. I melt. He kisses me again. "Okay, I'll take you home now," he tells me opening the car door.

I step in the car. Jack got in and turned around back to the brightly lit city. We held hands all the way home.

When Jack dropped me off it was late.

"Goodnight, I had an amazing time," I say leaning through his window. He leans into me and kisses me again. "Me too, your a great time," he tells me. I blush. "Goodnight baby," Jack saids kissing me. I kiss back. "Goodnight," I reply back. I step off the step and head to the front door. Jack pulls away as I shut the door.

In the morning I'll tell Leah about what happened, I thought as I walked past her room.
