When The Lights Go Out.

Chapter Three

The moment the reached him, she could tell she knew him, she just couldn't place it. She got the same feeling with Garroth.

Her eyes fell on the tall watchtower once they approached, she could see this Laurance from here. She tilted her head slightly as she entered the tower and was led up to the top.

He turned to face us, but he seemed to recognise her too. It was odd, almost.. creepy the way his blue eyes scaned her. Then he turned to Garroth asking curiously, "And who's this cutie?"

"M-my names C-cynthia." Aphmau responded, ignoring the part about him calling her a cutie.

"I just call her Cyn," Garroth chimed in.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful lady," Laurance winked

Garroth walked over to him and wispered something in his ear, after he had finished Laurance got a look of sadness then anger on his face. It faded away to a hard shell, something of pure nothingness. An emotionless void with no emotions getting through the mask.

Aphmau looked confused, her eyes darted from Garroth to Laurance. She finaly stoped and said "I'll b-be going now."

As she walked out, she looked back at the tower, the two were looking down at her, wispering. She shruged it off and walked to her 'home'. She got there and took her weaponry annd armor off, changing into everyday clothing, something a gaurd wouldn't wear. But it is easy to move in.

She sat on the bed placing her head in her hands thinking. 'What can I tell them when they ask for an update?'

Eventually she laid back on the bed, sleep over taking her. Her dreams were filled with odd things.. Laurance and Garroth talking to her, other things.. before she woke up a man in a black hoodie, and black pants. She saw him taking something, and blow himself up.. to kill, Zane? She seemed to be sobbing, on her knees weeping over the man.

She woke up in a cold sweat, looking around.
