She heard him say "You know the reason I didn't succumb to the Shadow Lord was you."
Aphmau opened her eyes, wide. Her jaw was slightly lowered, her face showing a surprised one. She looked around for a second then a woman in a white dress.. wings jutting out from her shoulder pads, charged at her. Bashing her body into Aphmau's, knocking her to the ground as her sword has thumped softly on the ground, lost from her grip when she was bashed into.
The woman got up leaving Aphmau dazed. She helped Laurance up and asked in a kind voice, "Are you okay? I got here as soon as I could."
He tilted his head and said, "Yeah.. but who are you?"
"Faeni, but I must get you from here. Not safe anymore." She responded, looking around.
Faeni dragged him to his feet, running with Laurance. They make it to the village and she explains alot. She told him what the plan was and that he needed to leave Aphmau be for now. Best not let her kill anyone she will regret.
Laurance thought for a second, "Faeni, why would you give up that power?"
"The matron had made the staff for the heir. I was keeping it safe and i intended on keeping the promise." Faeni replied, saying it as if it were obvious.
He taped his chin, "This is all so.. confusing."
"I have lived for too long, and still I do not understand affairs like this. I try to at least. Irene told me what to do when the time was right." She said looking around.
"I hope he comes soon. I don't think I could live knowing her mind is gone." Laurance said wistfully.
« Aphmau's POV »
Coward woman, didn't even give a fight. Aphmau had came to it when they were gone, she picked up her sword, looking around. That woman left no trace of being here.
She looked down at her armor thinking, 'This wont do, I need some cloth clothing. Maybe black so I can sneak around at night..'
She sighed, remembering she left ber bag at the house she was in when she woke up. Well time to steal, She thought.
She cound barely see in the night sky, but she wandered until the saw lights. The were dim but there. She founds some tents and one had a black sweater and pants, or something. She searched around a bit more, muttering "Who d-doesn't have a s-shirt?"
She shrugged, walking off with the clothing she found and into the woods. Finding a tree and leaning against it.
