Part 3 Chapter 4

Mat is walking in the forest pathway as he usually does. Things are getting back to its normal state-- as if nothing ever happened before.

He was about to turn right, but got blocked by someone whose wearing a cloak.

"Excuse me... Can I pass?" he asked.

Instead, that someone looked at him intently. It was a girl.

"Mat Adam," She said it in a whisper. "The alpha carrier." a ghost smile appears in her thin lips. She took off the hood, enough to see her face. "Can we talk?"

He looked at her like he'd seen a ghost or something. He sensed nothing but sorrow in her. Like she needs to be accompanied. He nodded and followed her through the thin part of the forest pathway.

"Who are you? What do you want from me?"

The girl smiled innocently, "I am Aea." She heaved a sigh then added, "The Princess of Dryad land. I want your help... I need to reclaim my land and my people. Orochi enslaved them."

"Orochi? The snake demon?" He asked.

"Yes." She answered.

With that, he agreed to help her. She told him that she'll give him anything in his desire but he refused to. He said he only wants to help her reclaim what she truly deserve and asked nothing in return.

**

They went to the Dryad land and inspected the place without anyone noticing them. They tried not to create any commotion while they still observing and making their plan out of it. It turned out dead pale as the place look like a ghost town. Everything seems so dry.

Trees are burned. South part's wrecked. It's not really the Dryad Land she used to live before.

From the farthest part of the forest, they can see the place where royalties used to live.

"Orochi killed them..." She said. "My parents died just to save me."

Mat looked at her with pity. She simply smiles-- but sadness failed her attempt. Instead of reminiscing the mournful events, they planned their next move. She saw how Orochi's army treated her people. They literally became the slaves whose being maltreated by anyone. Some are tied upside down.

Armies are laughing likeit was fun maltreating the dryad.

She may not hear them, but in their eyes, she can see their fear and sorrow. "I can't wait for this to be over." She said.

Mat sighed, "In time, it will."

A disastrous explosion roared in the whole place. Some turned their heads to where it started. Shocked and furious-- that's what the army welcomed them. Dryads cheered as if it was really the end of everything.

"The Princess is back!" Someone shouted.

Princes Aea cannot help but hope for the near end to be not bad as she imagined earlier. However, it cannot be compromised, but she still hopes.

Orochi's army tried to stop them-- but she blocked them by opening the ground. She told Mat to find Orochi. He did what he was told to do. Aea was left; she did her best to defeat her opponents. She even let her people out from them cage.

"Help them." She told the elves, "Do not let Orochi's army to bring our land down to hell."

Everyone nodded and made their way for find their family and friends-- and for them to help save their land.

She went after Mat. She found him near the big tree facing Orochi who is grinning. "Hello, Princess..." He teases.

With that, Orochi summoned some elves that she believes were manipulated. "Kill them..." He ordered.

Mat did not let the chance pass quickly. He used that to make attack. He targeted Orochi-- this is what he wanted from the start. Meanwhile, Aea faced the elves. Since she was born and raised with them, she knew what to do. It wasn't easy like counting one, two, three. It was blood! Mat almost fell into Orochi's trap to manipulate him. Luckily, he wasn't that dumb enough to be deceived.

Aea was left with no choice but to counter attack. The elves are too eager to defeat her. It may cause her pain, but she needs to do this for her people.

"No!" Orochi shouted. Mat was about to attack but Orochi ran, "This is not happening!" He shouted once again. Mat followed Orochi, so is Aea. They went after him. Aea used her ability to manipulate vines and trees to block Orochi's way. She tied him using the vines, so he can't run again.

"Accept defeat, Orochi. Evil will never win." Mat said in a low tone of voice.

He glared at him, "No!" Mat chanted words.

He took his Ki-Blade and slashed Orochi in half.

"Finally..." Aea said. Mat just smiled.

Aea finally got her throne back. She is happy. She can't help but feel sad for those who sacrificed their selves to free their land and people. Moreover, she's much thankful to those who helped her. Especially, Mat Adam.

Mat Adam, the alpha carrier. He's a big help. He may not want this, but she will forever be in debt to him.

They were fixing the mess when someone caught their attention. It was a man. Seeing him, Mat instantly recognized who the man is. Sieg Fang.

**

"What happened?" Mat asked Sieg.

He looked at him. Mat got the message and told Aea to let them talk alone. She agreed and continued giving orders to her people.

Minutes passed, Mat came out. He looks stressed. "He's in trouble." He said intently.

Aea looked at him, confused, "What are you talking about?"

"I revealed something. It's not as big as what happened here but he needs help."

"Tell me, and I'll do my best to help."

"Do you have an antidote for the fusion?" He sternly asks.

He talked to Sieg. While talking, he revealed something... and that is the fusion. He needs the rare antidote to help him get over that.

He think, Aea can help. She's the Dryad Princess, maybe she has it.
