Rapid footsteps pounded against the damp concrete ground, breaking the silence of the night. The moon peeked behind the blanket of clouds, lighting up the dim surroundings and revealing two battling figures.
Willow dodged the speeding ball of energy aimed for her, flipping a somersault and gracefully landing a good distance away from her opponent.
While Willow defended herself, Navi'Sai was cornered to a dead end and was forced to fight for his life. But strangely enough the young woman in front of her, puzzled the young man.
'She obviously plans to tire me out, until I have no strength to fight her. I need to think of something and fast, before that happens'
The mere thought of her sent shivers down his spine. From her stoic facial features, ebony black hair that danced in the wind, and her slim figure. He began fear what more it could do.
Willow on the other hand took advantage of Navi'Sai's weak and unfocused attacks. She smirked, knowing that her plan was going into action.
After she evaded the last blast swiftly, Willow lifts her right hand in the air, closing in into a fist before pulling it back down in a forceful, twisting motion and no sooner than a second a black vine-like object began to envelope Navi'Sai's foot.
Failing to notice this, caused him to fall down to his knees with a heavy thump, groaning in agony as he clutched his now injured ankle, glaring hatefully at Willow.
Navi'Sai gritted his teeth in anger, reaching out for his seraph blade and lunged straight at Willow with all the strength he could muster, a blazing track of light followed from his behind.
Surprised by the sudden outburst, The black haired girl lacked the speed to react in time, earning a deep wound in her shoulder.
Still she remained her balance, she was getting rather impatient.
Clenching her fist tightly, muttering a few enchantments. A seemingly glowing dark mass of energy began to emerge, giving her the ability to morph it into whatever she desires.
Navi'Sai's eyes went wide as saucers, he knew what it meant, he knew he was facing was no ordinary foe, and that he was overpowered in both means of strength and power.
But what baffled him the most is that what is in front of him is supposed to be impossible' he is facing a shadow walker, one of the most strongest species ever known, that is until they gone extinct.
"Who are you?!" Navi'Sai demanded.
"Someone you should never mess with, now hand it over!" She replied angrily before the dark mass of energy in her hand began spewing out large amount of icicle-like objects straight at him.
Navi'Sai swore a quick 'shit' as he tried his best to avoid the flying objects coming right at him, most missed, but some scraped his skin and one almost hit him in the heart, which thankfully didn't.
He then gathered up his power and was about to launch a counter attack when he suddenly couldn't move any of his limbs, nor feel them. It was too late when he realized that he had faced the wrath of his opponent, but it's unique skill that only shadow walkers can obtain, and that is to have control the shadows, a very dangerous ability.
"Game over pal" She chuckled in a dark, mocking tone, whilst grinning triumphantly with her hand clasped tight over her bleeding shoulder as she slowly approach the frozen male.
Willow's footsteps rang throughout the empty alley, the cold midnight air blew as she went closer and closer to Navi'Sai's unmoving body. He tensed up, swallowing the bile in his throat, as his mind began to panic.
"Who are you and why did you steal from me?" She asked, raising her warped shadow blade to his neck, yet gained no reply.
Willow fought the urge to punch the man and the face and instead snatched the stolen possession from Navi'Sai's breast pocket.
"Do you even have any idea what this is?" she said gesturing to the item of importance. again there was no reply.
But before anyone else could do anything, a pair of barely audible footsteps can be heard from a distance.
Navi'Sai was alarmed, he knew who those men are, he knew they were coming for him, and yet he does not know who to fear more, them or the person holding a dagger to his throat.
Willow also happens to know who these people are, it also happens that she despises these people with all her heart.
"Well done doll face, I sure your father will be pleased with this sudden change" The first man said.
'Father? Wait...'
"Please my ass!" Willow replied with venom dripping from her words. "What did he do to be chased by the royal guards, huh?"
"That's classified missy, now hand him over and we'll go in peace." The second man demanded.
"Why should I ?" Willow sassed.
"Look, we're not looking for a fight, just hand him over"
"Hmm, let me think..." She said as she eyed Navi'Sai with a hidden meaning. He couldn't understand it at first, but suddenly did as he heard her answer.
"No"
Then all hell broke loose as Willow snapped her finger, Navi'Sai regained his control over his body as well as his strength, his fists began to light up with energy, healing all his injuries as well as Willow's.
"You owe me one Navi'Sai" Willow smirked playfully as she glanced at Navi'Sai before they both charged towards the enemy.
'Heh, what do you know? It's a small world after all'
