the next day Sehun was alone in his room and was scrolling in his phone
Sehun frowned when he saw the article about Hailey and Taeyong
soon he couldn't bare to look at it and threw his phone
thankfully it landed in his bed
he messed up his hair as he sat in his bed
he looked down at his hands only to see himself wearing the couple rings he bought for Hailey and himself
he stood and messed up the room throwing things around the room
letting out his anger
he was so mad because he wasn't able to do anything about it
Suho soon came inside to stop him and to see the room in a huge mess
he hugged Sehun as he patted his back trying to comfort him
since he knew everything about Sehun's supposed to be fake relationship with Hailey
he knew that Sehun liked Hailey from the start
he also saw how Sehun reacted when their CEO told him the change of plans
When Sehun arrived he was surprised to see Hailey and Taeyong as well as Suho and their manager
"Oh Sehun! finally your here!" their CEO welcomed
"what's going on here?" Sehun asked seeing that Hailey didn't even look at him and Taeyong had a smirk on his face
"well you see.. theres a change of plans..." said their CEO
"what do you mean?" Sehun asked
"well you see people are shipping Hailey and Taeyong more and it seemed to attract more attention than your dating scandal" said the CEO
making Sehun frown
"since people doesn't know who your said 'girlfriend' is im making Hailey and Taeyong happen since it seemed to attract attention for both groups" he explained
this surprised Sehun "how about the staff? they saw us and also the members they know about my relationship with Hailey they think its real!"
"we'll have to tell the members the truth and for the staff we would just tell them you two were close" the CEO replied
"No! this cant be! im sure some fans have figured it out! we're wearing couple rings for heaven's sake!" he said as he showed them the ring he was wearing
"unfortunately they didn't and i need you to take Hailey's ring so people wont suspect"
surprised Sehun looked at Hailey's direction to see her shocked as well
"its just a pretend relationship anyway and its a failed one too" said their CEO he then turned to Hailey "Hailey-shi i need you to take off that ring now and give it to Sehun there's no longer a reason for you to wear it"
Hailey and Sehun looked at each other
and soon Hailey started to slowly take the ring off her finger and handed it to Sehun
Sehun stared at the ring in his hand
their CEO spoke again "Hailey and Sehun you two should not be in contact for a while to avoid fans speculating both of you"
Sehun couldn't believe what he was hearing
"and Taeyong-shi?" their CEO called
"yes?"
"i need you and Hailey to go to this cafe together tonight you need to be in public for fans to see and to also grab the attention of the media you need to get photos taken as if both of you are on a date" he explained "i already have a car waiting for you down stairs to drive you there"
Sehun looked up to see Hailey's reaction only to see her staring at him too
both looked eyes before the CEO spoke
"you may go now and Sehun-shi we need to talk"
both Hailey and Taeyong stood and made their way to the exit
and Sehun swore he saw Taeyong smirk
when they were out of sight the spoke
"Sehun i know your taken aback from the sudden change of plans but think about it your helping her in a way.."
"Hyung!" Sehun buried his face in Suho's shoulders letting tears stain the elder's shirt
