Hailey and Taeyong were in SM COEX
both of their groups were there
they were currently shooting a short advertising clip to show in the COEX
since they were already officially SM artists
while the others were shooting their clip
Taeyong asked Hailey to have coffee with him in the cafe
Hailey looked at their manager and saw his signal
'it was probably for show again' Hailey thought
on their way their they saw a couple of fans taking pictures of them
they couldn't do anything about it but just smiled as their pictures were being taken
Hailey occupied a table in the corner which was reserved for SM artistes
as Taeyong got them snacks and drinks
while waiting Hailey felt down
she kind of felt sad she havent seen Sehun for a long time
and being a couple with Taeyong felt weird to her
she wasnt used to it
she missed hanging out with Sehun and talking to him late at night
she looked down at her phone
hoping that she'd a text from him
but sadly she knew that it was impossible
while Hailey was staring at her phone Taeyong arrived with a tray
he bought some macaroons and some iced coffee
he smiled at the fans that were currently taking pictures of him before the guards finally told them to put away their phones
"hey" he called to Hailey
Hailey looked up to see Taeyong putting down the tray in their table
"whats wrong?" he asked as he sat down in the seat infront of her
Hailey ignored the question and tries to grab a macaroon
but Taeyong stopped her hand before she was able to pick one up
Hailey looked at Taeyong confused as to why he stopped her
Taeyong simply smiled and took a tissue and gave it to her
confused Hailey took it "wipe your hands first" Taeyong says and gave her a smile
Hailey nodded and wiped her hands before picking up a macaroon
Taeyong did the same and both ate the macaroons in silence
Taeyong finally decided to break the silence
"so..." he starts and Hailey looked at him "my question earlier you didnt answer it yet"
"it doesnt really concern you" Hailey replied coldly
with that Taeyong looked down which made Hailey a bit guilty
"i know that you dont feel comfortable about our situation right now" he says and he lifted his head and looked at Hailey in the eye "but i promise to be here if you ever need someone to talk to i can listen to your problems"
weirdly Hailey felt something when he said that
"i would even go out late at night for you or even ditch my members to accompany you or something" he then looks away "i really like you Hailey.."
Hailey was taken aback by the sudden confession
"please give me a chance"
