Taeyong sees Hailey's dorm building slowly disappear from his sight as they drove away
he really wanted to talk to Hailey
but it seems like he was unlucky for Sehun was there too
soon they arrived at the SM building where they will be having their evaluation
all of the NCT members were there
this evaluation would decide who will debut next since NCT-U finished their promotions already
and it seems like SM will debut another NCT Unit
everyone did fairly well in their evaluation and all they have to do is to wait for the results which will be out the next week or two
"Taeyong!" their manager called out
Taeyong with rest of the members were fixing their things getting ready to leave
Taeying walked up to his manager "yes?"
"the CEO wants to see you" his manager said
this made Taeyong wonder 'why would the CEO want to see me?'
soon they arrived at the office and there the CEO was seated on his chair flipping through some documents
before stopping when he noticed Taeyong was there
"Ahh Taeyong!" he says "take a seat" he pointed at the sofa in front of his table (a/n i seem to notice sofas in the CEOs offices like on yg and fnc i dunno maybe its a thing?)
and so Teayong took a seat and the CEO did the same on the opposite side and so they were face to face
"its about the new unit thats going to debut" the CEO started off "its going to be called 'NCT 127'"
Taeyong just noded listening carefully as it was his responsibility as the group leader
"i just wanna say that i have already decided to have you in this new unit right away and that the rest of the unit members will be decided by the board" he continues
with this Taeyong frowned "isn't it unfair if i get in right away?" he says "i mean the rest of team are working hard shouldn't we give them a chance?"
the CEO shakes his head "people's attention will be on you if we dont make you a part of this unit they may think that we're avoiding this scandal"
'its about the scandal again' Taeyong thought
"lets just take advantage of this attention to make you stand out more this way you can help the group have more popularity" he continues
Taeyong couldnt really do anything about the CEOs decision abd he maybe be right the group may get more exposure
as a leader he wanted to get the group more attention so that their hard work would pay off
soon they discussed about the group's future activities and schedules also the track list
after afew days the final decision of the members of the new sub unit were released
the members compromise four members from the NCT U Taeyong Mark Taeil Jaehyun and three new members Yuta Haechan and Winwin
they immediately started on their practice and started recording
as if SM had a dead line to meet they released teasers right away
Taeyong and the rest of the team were busy
but in the middle of this whole hectic schedule Taeyong was suddenly told to meet the CEO ones again during their break
thinking maybe its another update about the group's future activities got up and went on his way
when he arrived the the office he froze on the spot when he saw her there too
