Past photos of Chemistry's Maknae Hailey surfaced the net
the pictures show a slightly blurry figure of a girl in a rooftop of an abandoned building
though the girl in the picture was wearing a hoodie and had a lit cigarette on her hand
netizens claim that the girl in the photos were Chemistry's Hailey for there was another photo that showed Hailey wearing a similar hoodie from the said photo

some witnesses also claim to have seen Hailey buy cigarette packs and alcohol drinks from time to time at a certain convenience store where the same hoodie
netizens are angered for Hailey is only 18 years old and the photos were said to be taken over a year ago

[UPDATED] SM Entertainment has respond to 'Chemistry's Hailey Pre-debut Smoking" issue
A few hours after the article was released a representative from SM Entertainment has released a statement regarding the said issue
"We acknowledge that it is indeed Hailey on the photos shown.
Chemistry's Maknae Hailey will be taking a break from the group's activities in order to reflect on her past actions.
In the meantime Chemistry will continue to promote as a group with the remaining 4 members."
